I’m in my 60s and I couldn’t agree with you any more. So an answer to your question, if you’re a musician yourself, is: it’s up to you, my man! Even on “The Simpsons,” a show on which the smartest, nicest and best character, Lisa, is a jazz lover and sax player, they joke about everyone else hating jazz! (They’ve tried to make up for it with the “Bleeding Gums” character & recurring heavenly presence of Louis Armstrong.) Let’s not let ‘em get away with it

I will have to differ on that. I find this solo a lot more tasteful, with more power, plays with time going over the bar line a few more times. The count in while playing those triplet fills to come back to the groove is epic. The Montreaux solo just fades away to finish.
