Sometimes simplicity is good but Gadd sounds like a dude who has no creative edge. You can tell he dismissed working with Herbie Hancock. He knew Chick Corea was hot....no thought. Gadd taught us licks. Never taught us how to grow as a musician.

What an All-Star lineup! Gadd is def an All Time Top Drummer. His rhythm, melody and finesse makes him so great. Joe Sample on the Keys, Ray Parker Jr on the guitar and this band makes jazz music so enjoyable.

Gadd is just plain Groove Master. He’s so darn skilled and marchy, yet sooooooo musical. His cymbal selection is so colorful.
