It's great for vinyl, really nice preamps, plus you can use all the FX, even the FADER FX with vinyl

@@sp1200M3D No, the Sampler function only works when connected to a computer running Serato, the pads do not have any functions when used with an analog source

Ok when using my internal Serato effects with The A -Track they don’t trigger anymore (use to) but don’t now I’m running Serato pro( ver3.0.12 ) on a MacBook Pro M2 1 ) press fx button in the middle 2) choose fx of choice ( engage a button of choice) but when I trigger the toggle to that side music stop until I depress button on effect chose (what’s going on did I engage something else on accident?

I just ordered the A-Trak. One question: Why did I think I needed the cluttered 72 mk2 right of the bat, and why did I then order a skin for my turntables that now doesn't go well with the A-Trak I just ordered? Do I need two sets? Where do I place the Vestax Turntable now, that it's not a dark theme, anymore, but silver? xD #firstworldproblems

@@sticmatic For me I would be happy selling the reloops I have now and having a set of techs, either mk2s or mk5s, and PDX 2000s/2300s/3000s. Technics for regular mixing and vestax for crazy turntablism related stuff, even tho I know people totally mix on Vestax. Its just the collector in me. 1200s are too iconic to not have How come you have the PDXs and the str8s, is there differences? I know the pdx turntables are primarily straight arm decks I do know they made mix editions with S arms, I think those were the 3000s now that I think about it.

@@sgtcreasegrease the str8 are better equipped in terms of stability, power and features than the vestax. I only have one vestax 3000 for the midi input (keyboard or buttonbox) - i own 1200 since 20 years I’ll never sell them but the str8 mk1 are the best tables ever built.

Just received mine. Getting latency in the headphones when cueing. Latency down as low as it will go on serato.

Bluetooth headphones maybe?? Not sure why anything in the mixer hardware would cause that. I would try another set of headphones and see if the problem persists.

@@bpmdjpro brand new top end pioneer headphones, not Bluetooth, and no issues on my other mixer. Changing the latency in serato has helped, but still not perfect

Can you use the EFX with the sampler?

You can set the Sampler output to either deck (1,2) in Serato, then the effects for that deck effect the Sampler sounds. You can even midi map the Sampler Output deck assignment buttons to the custom pad sets (second layer of the Roll or Transport pads)

Can the fader fx work together with the roll/slice mode on the pads as well?

Yes, it works with Roll but there is no Slicer mode on the SEVENTY or SEVENTY A-TRAK to the best of my knowledge. Fader FX works on any sound coming through the channels, analog or digital

Please tell the engineers and research & development team to add a headphone cue fader contour curve option in the mixer settings. A choice to have a sharp curve that goes to silence in the middle instead of a blend. This would make split cue way more usable and the contour option setting should be added to all mixers and controllers that have a headphone cue fader. Pioneer if you're listening please do the same!

Just use the big square button that says "Flex Fx" above it to toggle between Serato FX and the hardware FX you can activate a Serato effect then toggle back over to the hardware effects to engage the Fader FX

It's a signature mixer that A-Trak helped design, so it only makes sense that his logo is on there. Easy to change with a custom skin from 12inchskinz

@@Paulorp1979 I don't agree, the new InMusic Rane products are virtually the exact same build quality, the only thing they got wrong was the weight of the Mag3 faders, the circuit boards, components, rotary pots and exterior casing is all exactly the same. Oh and i would still take the Mag3 faders on the channel faders over Pioneers awful standard alps channel faders. What makes you feel the quality is lower on the newer InMusic mixers?
