You'll like the BPS Raven. I have one trying to clear customs at the moment. Although it doesnt seem you would be happy with anything until you changed it.

Thank you. I'm definitely a fan of BPS. Beavercraft is doing great things as well. Very similar quality. Thanks for watching!

Is that the same as their Raven knife? Looks the same.
@Surv1ve_Thrive Жыл бұрын
Ah no, you showed the original. The Raven does have a Kydex type sheath. Only one KZbin review on it, they have sold it for years.
@lheastridge Жыл бұрын
Correct! I did the sheath, taken from a larger knife, then cut and reformed. The Raven also has plastic handle scales, rather than walnut. Thanks for watching!

What brand of bluing did you use? Thanks.

I use Birchwood Casey super blue or apple cider vinegar, depending on how dark I want to go. I buff them with #0000 steel wool, clean them, alcohol rub, soap and water, then rinse and dry, before applying anything. Birchwood is more about rubbing it in, rather than soaking; vinegar works better if heated, and slightly diluted with water. Thanks for watching!
