mouthguards actually can help with that. Since it's a rubber/silicone they prevent the grinding.

Hi Dr. Greg!😁 I got my exposure and chain on my top canines today. I decided to get my wisdom teeth out too. And I still had my 2 baby canines at my bottom, so I told my doctor to take them out too.😂 Is was not bad at all. When I woke up everyone said that I was saying I loved them and I wanted to go pick peaches haha. I only got all that done because I love my oral surgeon so much and my mom works for him lol I am currently icing my mouth Love ya Doc.

Guys, as an amateur boxer that use braces, i highly recommend fox40 heat alert mouthguard for those only have a upper teeth braces. İ sparred hard and entered tournaments with that mouthguard and nothing ever happened.

Sometimes the leagues your in like in boxing or mma doesn’t let you wear red mouth guards because they can’t differentiate the blood and the mouth guard

Guys i got braces and i use a cheap avessa mouthguard cost 3 or 4 dollars. We spar Light generally but we also go to different gyms to spar and they are hard just like competitions. İ havent been in a competetion since i got braces (around 2 months) but im doing fine right now. İm sure if you get a mouthguard designed for braces there will be no problem

I do martial arts, and I’m getting braces and an expander as well(expander for the second time) I used to have a mouth guard for braces for when I thought I was going to get braces before. It was really big and chunky. It was blue and was for both top and bottom. It was really annoying, it was really hard to swallow. I’m glad I only have to get the top braces on. But like I said, I have to get expanders on the top as well. Do you have any recommendations?

Hello Braces Explained. I have a problem with my teeth grinding while I sleep. Since also have braces, I always grind my teeth while I sleep in a very hard way. This causes the blue things on my teeth to fall off which are put there to keep my jaw a little bit more opened than usual. I also have elastic bands. I would ask your doctor but I usually recommend, unless you have an underbite, covering the top should be sufficient - again though, ask your doctor who is the most familiar with your treatment!
