I’m supposed to wear 3/16 4.5 oz bands but ran out and the front people gave me 3/16 6.5 without asking the ortho because they ran out of the gorilla one. Will that mess up my teeth?

My dentist did one for me for my Invisalign treatment, she said she only removed what was needed but i don’t believe her cuz my tooth has a more oval shape rather than rectangle! Her argument is that the tooth from the root is tilted…i feel so bad about them cuz i had crowding but not terrible crowding now i have a gap between my two front lower teeth that i never had before! Invisalign treatment is not yet done, she said the gap will be gone later…i dunno if i wanna keep trusting what she’s saying…can you please help me and just check out a photo of my teeth 🥺 thank you

Quick question now that I’m understanding you more how far into your treatment do they start adding power chains? i just need 6 more months into my treatment 😅 I did develop some open space on my bottom teeth that I never had and I’m just curious how far into my treatment they will add them

Team Invisalign over here for me 🔥 I dropped the Cash from start to finish as soon as I could afford it & I haven't looked back since. When it comes to health , Travel & your wellness in life I always spend the Maximum price I can afford with no complaints because that stuff is so important , more then people realise.

I wonder if this expander would also help someone be able to breath better when it expands the jaw?

They’ll hurt for a few days after every adjustment at your orthodontist. Typically one adjustment per month

Is it fine if my Doctor changes my midline? My midline now is between the 2nd teeth (from the center) and the canine 😢

I've been wearing braces for a little over a year now. I am 41 years old. My face has changed significantly since I started the treatment and I was not prepared for that. Is the orthodontic treatment reversible and can I get my old face back? The braces treatment made me look older and I am very upset about that.

Let's get one thing straight. Braces are a rabbit hole profit generator for the industry. As little as 5% of the patients that receive braces actually need them. Once you start, it is a 10 year process, followed by months of wearing a retainer if not longer. Be very careful of this scam industry. You will make dozens and dozens of trips due to poor installation, broken wires, etc. No insurance covers it all. In children it lowers their self esteem as they never ant to smile - for years. This industry should be sued, and the people that perpetuated this false medical practice - in prison!

I got power chain today on my top teeth but confused as I don’t have any gaps so why put one on ? I have a gap on my bottom teeth but no power chain just my last wire .

Will your jaw return to the original position after you finish treatment? Since you have to wear a retainer when you get braces off so you can only assume the same for bands?

I’d probably recommend Invisalign for people with teeth grinding/bruxism. Otherwise it can be awkward and inconvenient with Invisalign needed to take the slingers on and off during when consuming non water foods and drinks. Let alone in public…

This explanation makes no sense, the only time this makes sense to use is when the upper teeth are contacting the lower braces. If you use it to adjust teeth due to a bite issue with top teeth contacting bottom teeth, when you adjust the teeth and remove the bite turbo’s you’ll get an over correction. It would be like adjusting someone’s teeth with their mouth open until they’re straight, and then telling them to bite down after, the top teeth will go into the bottom teeth and neither will end up straight.

I got my expander like a month or two ago and no one told me that my front two teeth would have a big gap in between them!!!😩😭
