Lulu is the one in the Purple Sweater in the beginning. a young Patricia Routledge who played Hyacinth Bucket, a fictional character in the BBC sitcom Keeping Up Appearances, is in this as one of the teachers she brings him tea after class toward the beginning. The comparison to Welcome Back Kotter is interesting, although this came before that almost 8-9 years. Gee, wonder where they got the idea for Kotter?

it came out in 1967 hence the fashion and dialogue. this was and is an iconic film. you didnt watch enough to get the proper gist of it!!
