@@bencersparney3654 Somewhat. It means that he can taste more subtle differences in flavor and can grasp flavors better than most. So for instance, let's say you put a small amount of a certain spice or herb in a dish, it's only meant to give a subtle, hint of flavor, but I can't pinpoint what it is or if it's even in there. He could tell that it's there AND tell you what it is. I want to be a chef, but my pallete sucks (at least I think so).

@cross5808
@cross5808 5 жыл бұрын
@@Annie-cs it genuinely made me feel sorry for Andy when he said that. I have no doubt that his mother is/was equally controlling and neurotic, and growing up he, like all children, tried to emulate his parents. That's sad, and all of the responsibility was hers. But as we grow we tend to develop self awareness, which is necessary for self improvement. By laying all the blame for his *adult* behaviors at his mother's feet he implies that he does not (yet🤞) understand that he has the power to change his ways, even if his mom never changes hers. Andy, if you read this, please know that you're not alone, and that with sufficient motivation, support, and time, you can (if you want) change your thoughts/feelings/actions to better reflect *YOU, Andy" without showing up as an emissary for your mother.
