Shocking, a wealthy person from a powerful family endorsing conservatives who historically are very generous to the wealthy. Truly a man of the people.

He did a great job against that slimy, lying lawyer. John has the truth on his side.

I’m conservative leaning, but after seeing the leader debate. I have less faith Rustad is the right person to lead the party and the province. This leaves me I a bad spot. Im heading to advance polls this morning undecided.

While I am definitely NOT a far left NDP supporter, I was never particularly enamoured by the BC Liberals/United party either. It was Gordon Campbell after all who brought in the first BC carbon tax, which in my mind was far worse than his DUI in Hawaii. (in which thankfully no one was harmed). Christy Clark was and is a WEF puppet who is not at all interested in values such as freedom and liberty and Capitalism. However I must admit that the BC Liberals did do some very good things. The Gateway project in the Lower Mainland comes to mind. After years of deliberate neglect of the road systems in the Vancouver area, they did FINALLY get around to improving, the road system in all but the central city. New highways were built like the Perimeter Highway, new bridges were constructed to replace old ones that were way over capacity, Hwy 1 was widened and more. Unfortunately, the NDP regained power just before one of the very important pieces of this was finished, the bridge to replace the Massey Tunnel. They stopped this in its tracks and then spent years farting around while never admitting that they wanted NO BETTER ROAD INFRASTRUCTURE at all that might improve transportation options. The only good thing about this lack of building is that now that the NDP might just get the boot here shortly, an incoming Conservative government might be able to just pick up where the Liberals left off, and re=start the bridge to replace the tunnel. One can only hope, and at the very least,, a Conservative government cannot possibly be worse than the car hating socialists that are in power now. By the way, good to see another Bennett speaking up. I think that Cecil Bennett was the last great premier that BC had. Bill was OK, but he just wasn't his dad. Since then BC has had a succession of disappointing Premiers and some outright car hating socialists. I hope for the best possible outcome if the Conservatives do happen to win here in a couple of weeks. For what it's worth, they've got my vote.

Bc conservatives aren't attending forums because province-wide they were told not to attend not because their time would be better spent elsewhere. Because their party know, they can put out those candidates because 99% chance they will show the voters why they aren't suited to represent them.

Conservatives are crushing it in the 'forums.' It looks like a party for anyone wanting change.

That's a good point on independents... I like the idea of a candidate not beholden to anyone, but you're just splitting the vote, and independents have no power. We need the Conservatives.
@dirtlump3 күн бұрын
NOPE ! in the now most likely 'minority' BC Gov't scenario the Independents hold HUGE power in the best interest of their constituents.....

Do you also have the bc cons, bc libs and bc ndp...and they are not the same as the cons, lib, ndp federal..I don't like the separatists feel of it. Coup? Let's vote for one Canada and not tricky names. Go for vegan diet, harmony with nature and innovative development, no cruelty to any being. Let's vote for power not small parties trying to power grab the provinces and who knows who they are funding. Vote for a federal legitimate party, keep the power.
