Hello and welcome to the channel. Brad Gillis of Night Ranger has been shredding stages for over 40 years. His use of the Floyd Rose tremolo his epic. He was hired to replace Randy Rhoades in Ozzy's band. He was part of the Hear N Aid project for famine relief. He has hundreds of songs placed on TV, movies and video games. He continues to tour as part of Night Ranger 40 plus years after it's inception. Thanks for watching.

Great and highly underrated guitarist. His use of controlled feedback on Sister Christian is insane.

Saw him w/Ozzy in '84. I was blown away by Brad. Made me pay more attention to Night Ranger, which was lighter than the music I listened to at the time e.g. Sabbath, Maiden, Preist...And then his parts in "We're Stars," are stellar!! ✌❤🤘

@@greatguitaristoftherockera2833 Yes, I remember the date because it was 2 days after my 18th birthday. The show was in Minneapolis on March 9th, 1984 and Motley Crue opened. Long story, but we met Ozzy later that night after our car died in the parking lot. lol

Brad Gillis' work with Night Ranger was my introduction to him. Liked his work on their first 2 albums.

This is pretty vanilla. It's like a cursory biography with plenty of Night Ranger stuff. It doesn't cover what made Brad famous--his whammy bar use and what motivated him to focus on it. I'm disappointed.

Sorry to disappoint. The channel is geared more towards bio’s right now. As I get more time I’ll do more in depth analysis on playing styles and techniques.
