@@eachasteriod1334 Only kills Nemesis got in Thr3make were a bunch of random civilians - likely unarmed and defenceless, big whoop - and Tyrell, a UBCS soldier who in the crude definition of the squad, was hired by the very people that developed Nemesis. And the latter was already on his way out, judging by his constant slow, wounded movements. One can attribute him for contributing to Mikhail's death, but Mikhail deliberately suicide to deny Nemesis more high profile kills, so I would only give Nemesis partial credit, at best.

1:35 Was Brad actually a coward even back then? I mean the story certainly treats it like that at times but let's be real, he did his job! He's the Pilot he's not supposed to stay at the drop off, he's supposed to leave the zone of danger and return later when he's called for extraction. Staying, especially if he was under attack when he left, would actually compromises the integrity of helicopter but by leaving he secures the means of extraction.

This is crazy, I was just thinking about this today and arrived at a similar conclusion, and then I find this video! I imagined a mix of both, what IF Brad stayed behind to stop the zombies and you leave him, giving us that "We're a team?" moment which I really liked, and we assume he dies. THEN, when Jill arrives at the RPD, Nemesis appears and in a video sequence Nemesis is about to end Jill, when Brad appears with some sort of heavier ordnance to make him more of a threat (like a discarded UBCS assault rifle or grenade launcher) and saves Jill, cue you take back control of Jill as you and Brad fight him, after a certain amount of damage has been dealt, Brad goes down fighting and giving Jill enough time to get away (or to K.O Nemy temporarily like in the OG game). Either way Brad gets a suitable heroic end. Oh, and also, have Nemesis kill him in some other manner, maybe the tentacle pierces his chest instead of his head, since it always bothered me that he could come back as a zombie if Nemesis would've destroyed his brain with that attack. Ultimately Brad did the only thing he could back in Arklay. If he had stayed he would've died like the Bravo pilot, and even if he didn't and he had rescued the Alpha team, Wesker was still with them, he would've ordered Brad to land near the Mansion and Brad would've likely died if he entered the mansion. In the end, even though Brad took off, he did fly around for hours trying to find his team, and without him none of the 4 other STARS would've survived the Mansion.

If i were too make Brad's story it should be set say a few hours before the Outbreak began. We get to see what Raccoon city looked like everything was okay and a normal day in the city. Then Brad who's in his apartment was trying so hard to find out what happened in the Mansion, seen's in his Bio it says his a *"computer expert"* . He then manage to hack into Umbrella Corps, learned some of their secrets including Nemesis, Zombies, cannibal attacks, the police Chiefs secret involvement, the T-Virus. An he found out the Cover-up of the mansion attacks and that Surviving Members of S.T.A.R.S are due to for elimination by *"Nemesis"* . Just then as he tries to get in contact with Jill or Chris then the Outbreak began, all phone lines are cut and he has to try to deliver what he discovered to Jill in person, only for him to run into Zombies and Nemesis. That way we get to see Brad try to be the hero he never truly was during the events in the Mansion.

I heard that Brad was in the police station when it went to hell, had his helicopter taken away by Chief Irons, and escaped the station to find Jill. If that’s true, then him learning about Iron’s betrayal wouldn’t make sense at all considering he could just tell all the officers. Also Raccoon City suddenly falling to the zombies doesn’t make sense either. There were many riots that broke out right after the outbreak began, before Jill encountered Nemesis. Having all that happen before the riots simply wouldn’t make sense. The city’s fall to chaos took a few days to happen. Having it happen straight away would feel rushed and awkward

Wrong. Re3, to begin with, was a short game with a lot of filler. The only thing people remember form it is nemesis and Carlos. With so little original content to remake especially when they're also making re8 they didn't have time to expand the story beyond nemesis chases Jill. Even then they do still make Nicholia a better antagonist and give you a sense if escalation with nemesis actually transforming. The original re3 was a flawed cash grab. Re3make tried to do as much as it could but because of limited resources, they couldn't do much. If the product you get isn't objectively great you don't have the right to say the people behind it didn't care about it.

@@Jose-se9pu I do. It's new take on an old game. Wether it be a remake or a remaster I've thoroughly enjoyed the recent re content. Re4 does have mistakes and blindly worshipping a game is what got capcom into the mindset that the audience wanted more action-focused resident evil games and re4 directly lead to re5 and 6 being action-focused shooting games. The camera angle is wonky and so are some of the controls plus some story elements are a but goody and silly. With updated graphics, controls and the trimming of unneeded parts it could be great.

As much as I love him, you should make one on Shujinko. They left him off half-assed in Deception, didn't really give a shit about his character after that in Armageddon, and in the new NRS era, he still gets his ass kicked in non-canon arcade ladder endings and has been reduced to nothing but a few mentions in intro dialogues. That's it. An old, wise man who has traveled many realms and studied many fighting styles, being a warrior with infinite potential... dropped off for the likes of D'Vorah. I get that many people hated him, but that's what reboots are made for. If people can stand Cassie after one game, surely you can work your way with this old man.

Wasted Potential: Leon Kennedy Leon is only character we know of that has not interacted with Jill properly in the games. Having Jill and Leon in a game together, maybe with Chris as well would be rather interesting.

I agree with you. I actually loved how the Remake made Brad more sympathetic and actually went out of his way to redeem himself. Problem is, they could've furthered that by doing exactly as you suggested, then making Brad appear at the police station and sacrificing himself to Nemesis for Jill. That said, I still happen to like the RE3 Remake. Despite it's faults, it's still a very enjoyable game.

I do think the Brad death in the original played part in making jill facing Nemesis bit more personal since she lost another comrade that she might have saved who slowly started to redeem himself, also yeah it does make nemesis more of a threat since the moment he enters he sweaftly executed his programmed mission which is eliminating all S.T.A.R.S members which he was successful with brad so both characters benefit in remake it's kinda wasted for the scene with marvin to make that character who's very short lived more tragic and leave it for carlos to take the kill which just leaves jill facing nemesis more out of annoyance specially when he's quite incompetent in this incarnation having more oppertunities to eliminate jill except he just tosses her around constantly, barely scoring kills, while it's true that this game gave brad some dignity it doesn't really matter since he's character is just overall bland, i wouldn't have minded if he jobbed for far more important characters also weird that Barry didn't show up like the original, since he also betrayed jill and him coming back to save her in the original was another redeeming moment for him

Yeah, I feel like Brad should be killed by Nemesis. As the video says, it shows why Nemesis is a threat and has him be successful in his mission whereas in the remake Nemesis doesn't kill a SINGLE STARS member. Basically, if you want a character to be seen as a threat, you need to show why they are threatening. Nemesis hunting STARS, and killing one shows he is a threat even if its Brad because we can see what he can do and he completes half his mission. In the REmake he doesn't kill Brad, wastes every oppurtunity to kill Jill, even running away when she is knocked unconscious instead of just killing her there and honestly he goes out like more of a bitch than in the original. In the original, Jill has to narrowly kill him with a Railgun and even that doesn't kill him right away, in the REmake she shoves the railgun down his throat and annihilates him. I honestly prefer classic Nemesis 99% more than new Nemesis. The only thing I prefer for new Nemesis is his 3rd form but I hate how it happens.

The Resident Evil 2 remake was quite good, which only makes the RE3 remake feel like that much more of an afterthought on Capcom's part. It's like they weren't that invested, so they didn't feel the need to do the story justice despite featuring one of the most memorable monsters from the whole series! (So much so they made Nemesis playable in two different Marvel vs Capcom games)

Why does it make sense? In original it was kinda implied what his room was the place of R.P.D. last stand against zombies (police was literally sieged by them if you read documents and pay attention to all bloodied and bullet ridden barricades). But I guess it is a nice touch.

I feel like it's weird that they didn't do both, have him slow down the zombies in what appears like a heroic sacrifice, and then have him show up at the RPD having managed to escape due to some incredibly lucky circumstances. (Maybe even NEMESIS having killed the Zombies in order to get to Brad cause that was it's objective and the zombies were in the way. That would show how ruthless Nemesis is and that it's goal was to kill STARS members no matter what.) And then have Nemesis ambush Brad and Jill and have the original iconic scene.

The first 4 games are classic albiet with out dated controls and graphics, 4 is fun but a massive change for the series. 5 is lesser than 4 but has some good for it and 6 is just the worst elements of the 3rd person era with a dumb plot even by RE standards. If any game should have made you annoyed its 6, its 5 but worse, it doesn't even have Wesker as a cool villain, just some stupid Illuminati guy who turns into a mutant dinosaur and a crazy Ada clone who turns into a goop monster.

I just bought re3 yesterday on steam and I take my my looting and looking for secrets and I am at the final boss in 4 hours.This is game is so rushed it's hard to enjoy and I never got to play the original.The first act in the city was so fun nemesis was like mr.x on crack but sadly after that the game is way to easy.I would also like to add in that some scenes happen so fast you have no time to think ex: the ubcs dude who gets shot in the garage has 5 seconds of screen time.

This would've been pretty cool. Perhaps the 2nd pistol that Jill gets isn't Carlos's pistol, but Brad's. That way it can occur later in the game, and we can get a scene with Brad as well.

Buy it if you can find it for under 35- 30. The bad people claim comes from the break neck pacing the game has. As Snake says, the game rushes from plot point to plot point as if the game is checking boxes of all the key set pieces. The lack of puzzles also means there is little backtracking looking for items. Those two issues alone makes Re3R "feel" shorter than it is. There is other stuff like a missing mercenaries mode and dynamic choice system and a proper randomizer that limits replayability. With all that said, the quality of the game its self is more or less on par with Re2. In short, RE3Re is like having premature ejaculation during otherwise pretty good sex.

I could see Wesker doing that but I think Brad is characterized as a coward, I think he even has the nickname 'chickenheart' because of this so I imagine its more likely he ran instead of following orders. Still, if Wesker did do this, it actually makes more sense why he brought a rocket launcher back with him, Wesker ordered him to in case he had to deal with the Tyrant.

This may have been mentioned in some expanded material but it was never done in the actual games.. It was always that Brad when the zombie dogs showed up he freaked out and fled in the helicopter. Which honestly we gamers tend to give him way too much flak for, I am not sure how well I would deal with actual undead creatures trying to attack me but I probably would run so fast you'd see a puff of smoke where i used to be lol... Sure technically he's part of an elite police unit, but he's also just the pilot so probably one of the least combat trained and had also never had to deal with a mind blowing threat of undead creatures which would probably shake anybody.

It's easy for people to miss the name of the series "Wasted Plotential" because you don't emphasize the "Plot" part of "Plotential" well enough, I think. Perhaps you should give the "l" part a little bit more emphasis, so it's not easily skipped over and heard as just "Potential"

Too true, re3r such a miss Guy cemented the tone of the old by his death as a character who proved nemesis can get anyone and any member of S.T.A.R.S. Now just a pointless death and reference foreshadow to a better remake

The Brad from the remake aint canon in my book, his personality makes zero sense considering his actions in the first game. I think Capcom just secretaly wants to reboot the whole franchise.

I have never been disappointed with a game as much as i was with re3remake, i would even say i never cared about a game being a disappointment before re3. People who didn't grow up with the original or aren't fans of the original just don't get why its a disappointment, but they feel the need to discredit actual fan's opinion on it anyway for some reason

I agree even looking at the game on its own in a vacuum separating it from the original it's barely mediocre as a remake it's borderline insulting 😅. Also maybe this is a me thing but I really didn't care for Jill's characterisation in this version Jill has always been a very soft and kind character whereas here she's a generic current day "girlboss" character who's an annoying standoffish dick to everyone shout F this and f you every five seconds I couldn't stand her
