The first time I saw Jane's Addiction...was 1987. They opened for Love and Rockets. I went to see L&R.. but Jane's Addiction was amazing and a hard band to follow.

I got to see them in 92 I don't remember getting there, or leaving the show, I just remember how good that show was, how cool the crowd was , how lucky I felt to be there 🎶💜😎

😵‍💫Wow! "There's a time for everything ... the Universe is so big ... there's a place for it too ..." Well ... yes ...! This came out in 1988, so when you see a little old gentleman walking down the street, just remember what's in his head ... mind blown ...😵

@Brad After Dark Sound that is synced from the board will often give a more even sound. Recording live on 1 camera is hard. Camera quality is detrimental. To get stereo sound &/or balanced properly is determined by many factors. I always had my "sweet spots" at every venue. Yet could be ruined if a different sound person was there. Some bands would alter their setups, so that could mess the whole configuration up too. Thus why there as so many variables. More so with a lot of classic club recordings. ie: Early 80s, long before all had phones, smart ones especially. Lucky if 1 person in the audience could afford a video camera. Straight to Beta or VHS, mono poor recordings & video that would jump if one got bumped &/or if the lights would change. Yet many of those kinds of recordings would be the only in existence & worth their weight in gold or more. & So they shall be coveted. Like all the footage on Metallicas - Cliff Em All! I know a few people who make a living off selling copies of their old tapes. So don't knock all poor recordings. Especially if tis a rare one. Appreciate them like artifacts. Fun & educational to witness the evolution of so much. Enjoy❣️ J~

You and Lex have reacted to that Jane's Addiction song "Mountain Song" (studio version) before on an '80s alt rock stream a couple of years ago. One of the alt rock pioneers. Check out the actual music video someday soon!

Concert Footage...when I saw U2 in Las Vegas on the Joshua Tree Tour. .. they filmed concert footage to be used in videos. It was a professional setup with multiple cameras. . Plus they announced that the concert was being filmed. So, some live footage is professionally done for certain bands and venues

Janes Addiction paved the way for Alt/Grunge rock of the 90's. Perry Farrell created Lollapalooza festival, multiple stages showcasing so many bands. Pioneers.
