You’re right about this episode setting up the rest of the show, as episodes 1 and 2 were released at the same time kind of like an extended premiere. Also worth keeping in mind, when you get to them, that episodes 8 and 9 also act in the same way - just an extended finale. I’d agree for the most part that Agatha All Along is relatively self-contained and not as reliant on previous MCU entries for context and easter eggs. Obviously people should watch WandaVision first but a lot of the general story can still be picked up without it. Looking forward to the next reactions now that you’re about to hit the main section of the show 😊

Don't worry too much about not knowing things. Half the fun of this show is trying to figure stuff out, the realizing you were totally wrong the whole time. One thing that did help me understand Agatha (and her seemingly split personality) is the realization that she is, basically, a Drag Queen. Every moment she is in public she is "wearing" her persona like drags might wear 8" stilettos, batwing eyeshadow, and a Dolly Parton wig. No one sees the real Agatha, unless she's alone (and sometimes she lies even to herself) Also... love the "Charlie Spring" sweater vibe. Nick Nelson would probably say you looked cuddly in that. (He is such a player that Nicholas)

Drag Queen? Interesting comparison. To me, she's a con artist who's been doing that for so long that she forgot how to turn it off. Like, when she walks into Jen's store---Jen knows her, there's no reason to put on a persona.

@@HenryLoenwind The scene with Agatha and Jen, in fact almost all their scenes, reminds me of watching Trixie and Katya throwing shade at each other. Possibly because I had caught up with RuPaul's Drag Race the same day I watched it? I totally see your point too though, what a great way to view her. It's almost sad how lost little Agatha has become (Evanora makes even Odin's parenting look like the Cosby Show). She's a fascinating character and Kathryn really loved chewing the scenery while being her. I'm hoping she gets rewarded at awards time!

The Witches' Road is Marvel Comics lore, but kind of obscure. It's supposed to be a dimension outside of time that only witches can go to. There is a Scarlet Witch comic from 2015 and when she (and Agatha, as her ghost mentor) walk the road to find out why magic is dying. But honestly it's probably best that you don't know that lore because it's pretty different in the show.

Not a spoiler,so in the comics Wanda,dr doom and agatha have walked the witches road.The witches road for the viewers is whatever they sang,the ballad.Cant say more than that without spoiling i guess but keep in mind mcu and comics are completely different like how thanos wipes half the universe to impress lady death but in the mcu he did it to bring balance to the universe
