@@oopsgirl44 As far as I know, not particularly! Personally, it spoke to the experience of living in a stifling religious household as a closeted gay minor unable to improve my own situation. Or more recently, the experience of being an adult in the US every time another piece of backwards, faith-motivated legislation crops up. In both cases, all that overwhelming rage/ desire to lash out against religious systems/ fanatics/ god himself kind of amounts to just… staring at the floor sometimes. Those lines felt really authentic to that kind of struggle. But that’s just my take-I imagine it varies!
