@@paranormalskeptic3893 Josie is a such a great song. One of their underrated ones imo. Has just that 90s sound that fits so well. Has the great drum tempo. it's an insightful spelunking of the inner cries of teenage angst; powerful, frantic, yet vaguely defined- a feeling most can relate to but few take the time to recognize. The relationship is but a metaphor for the spiralling helplessness of everyday life, where people expect more from each other than each individual feels they're capable of. Whether it be emotionally, financially, or situationally, we're all alone in growing up. We all wish someone was there whenever they aren't. We all take those people for granted when they're are. It's just a desperate appeal for control when we know we're incapable of finding it ourselves.

In this episode of Brad & Lex, Dammit!! Just "blink" and the couple are instantly immersed into Mark Hoppus's world which is made up of quick paced drummage and gritty guitar chord progressions laced with strong, direct lyrics about maturation during painful break ups slash the aftermath. They liked it! Especially her... A lot of people are embarrassed to like rock if they are 'cool'. I have chilled with so many types of people, but I feel like i created the style of wearing band shirts while rocking jordans and baggy jeans and other athletic clothes as I was a hooper and loved rap, yet loved rock and roll (this was 15 years ago, Bear Creek HS Colorado (I know that I probably didnt invent it but I had to of helped, NOBODY else was doing it at the time, I like to be unique). Now everybody wears band t-shirts and don't even listen to the band or know who they are lol or even act like rock is wack while wearing a band t shirt... Lol just accept it...
