dave said in some old interview. When his first brother got jailed for life, it was a big deal for him of course. But When his second brother got jailed for 4 years, his single mum couldn't support Dave anymore. They were basically on the verge of being homeless. that's why he said she was lifeless. cuz she felt suicidal
