I thinks she's kind of undeveloped or maybe previously undiscovered musical talent. She seems to instantly understand the structure of the song, notices transitions, appreciates complexities right away which took me fucking years to appreciate. Metal is fucked up, and to actually hear the music through all the crazy and wild arrangements, you need to have an EAR. Lex has got it, probably even more than you need for simply being a fan, or listener, and that's why I believe she could probably pick up some instrument and be pretty good at it. Raining Blood is one of the most experimental/nonsensical Slayer tracks and id didn't scare Lex away, so there you have it

Top 5 worst Thrash Metal albums ever. You take away the already average Angel Of Death and Raining Blood the album is only 20 minutes of pure shit. Speed doesnt mean a thing when the album has zero good songs. Slayer is my 3rd favorite Thrash Metal band but this is their worst album. Hell's final attack on heaven. "Piercing from bellow, souls of my treacherous past" God describing the demons/former angels that joined Satan in his rebellion. "Abolish the rules made of stone" are the 10 commandments. The entire last verse describes Satan's victory over heaven and all its dead, bleeding angels, thus raining blood. "Creating my structure" could be Satan implementing his rule/rules, or a literal structure made from the dead bodies in heaven.

I saw slayer live on their final tour, most Intense gear I’ve ever felt when they played this song

My fave is the live version where they transition seamlessly into black magic.....epic!

4:17 Public Enemy were on the same label as Slayer and sampled their songs. Maybe you heard "She watch channel zero" which sampled Angel of Death from the same album

In the liner notes for this album, in the lyrics section, it credits who plays the guitar solo in each parts of the songs. For example, after a verse or chorus it'll say LEAD: King or LEAD: Hanneman. At the very end of the song Raining Blood, that fast chaotic part with the squealing guitars, it straight up says NOISE: Hanneman/King. IDK why but it struck me as funny when I first saw that back in the day.
