@@adraaanpathikonda On this video we did not change the e-brake shoes. We only did the regular disc brake pads. Since the e-brake rarely gets used we have not had to change those brake shoes out, apologies. Cheers!

Love that Milwaukee tool. I'm about to do my rear pads on my 2007 F-150. Rotors still good but pads are just about done. Also, I saw you used a C Clamp. What size?

We have switched all of our battery powered tools over to Milwaukee several years ago and have been very happy with the selection and performance. With regards to the C-clamp, you just need one large enough to help push that piston in. Whatever you have that can provide enough leverage and you will be good. Should I open the bleeder when pushing the Caliber piston back?

@@kirkschleicher6628 Hey Kirk, thanks for the question. It is not necessary to open the bleeder screw to push the caliper piston back. It's actually better if you don't, that way you won't have to worry about bleeding the brakes after. You can simply install the new pads and you will already have a better pedal feel. At 1:15 of the video the pad facing out, the clip that you are pushing is towards the bottom of the caliper. When you re-installed at 8:17 looks like that clip is towards the top. Is this correct or does it matter?

Thanks for the question Harrison. It will depend on the pad manufacturer for the placement of the spring clip. It does not matter if it's located on the top or bottom of the pad, it works the same either way. Good luck on your F150 project. Cheers!

Thanks for the question Justin, they can just lookup your purchase history with your phone number. You will not need to hang onto your receipt to get new pads. And yes, you just keep going back for as long as you own the car/truck and they just exchange the old ones for new ones. We have done this numerous times as the F150 currently has 353k miles on it.
