Brad! To answer your question at 3:25 about "why people do this to their hair", I have the answers for you. Coming from a girl that bleached and dyed her hair so much in 2017 that she lost nearly 6" of length to it just breaking off... 1. It's waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay cheaper (if you don't fuck it up) 2. It is actually kinda fun and you feel good being able to do it yourself 3. You get practice and grow your knowledge base, improving with time 4. If it gets messed up, you only have yourself to blame. I've had my hair messed up by stylists too many times to count, and I feel bad being confrontational so I usually just say I like it and then go home to cry into my pillow
@mackenziedesire75155 жыл бұрын
adding to number 4, it also feels SO awful when you pay a decent chunk of money just to have the professional ruin your hair (i have super curly hair, once wanted about an inch or two off and the woman somehow managed to cut it so short it was above my ears! i cried for ages)
@wendyhere72045 жыл бұрын
I also like the control of being able to adjust where I see fit. I never feel like I'm able to do that when the hairdresser already did his/her thing. I cut my own hair today (just made a fringe/bangs and a little trimming), but liked it better than what any hairdresser has ever done, for the cheap price of free! I once wanted a fringe 'till just over my eyebrows and it ended up being halfway my forehead (and I have a tall forehead). the week after I would go on the trip of a lifetime (Tokyo). I actually cried when that happened.

I wanted platinum Blonde hair, with shadow roots... paid £100 for her to give me yellow ends and ginger roots. Then walked a toner over it and I’m rocking silver hair £24 in total and I love it no damage.

Actually, when I accidentally spill bleach on my clothes or, god forbid, a client's clothes, and I don't have any of that stop-the-bleaching-process shit around, I use conditioner or hairspray. It stops the process enough so that the bleach doesn't light the fibers in the fabric, and it comes right off without staining in the washing machine at the end of the day. Works every time. So in other words, you _definitely_ shouldn't put conditioner in your bleach mixture as it will dilute the bleach and slow the process considerably. Possibly even stop the bleach from working at all.

Gods, I had to sell my bike (that I used to get to the 5km away train station every day for work and university) to just get my hair fixed (bleached) after a "professional" thought it would work to just put bleach and red dye together atop black hair to make it red. Guess what. Did not work out and then she went left the career (thk God) so I couldn't get a fix from her. Food was plain noodle for several weeks and every day about 12km walking because I now didn't have a bike no more :D Not going to a salon anymore (small village, only grand ma salons around anyways)

@cc.74075 жыл бұрын
Alyssa Reaves this is a damn lie. Y’all can bleach 90% of someone’s hair when they do ombré but don’t want to bleach a whole head at one time. It’s all about money.
@AlyPaigexx5 жыл бұрын
Cheyenne Wyatt if a stylist chooses not to do the whole head and do an ombré instead (which never happens so idk what your point is), then there’s a reason. My point is that they have the products you need. Going to Sally’s doesn’t make you hair smart. Education does. Hands on practice for a year does. So I don’t know what this “lie” is that you’re referring to. Of course it’s for the money, it’s how they make a damn living. Again, they put all the time and money into getting that license to do your hair and your gonna bitch about the price 🙄

Hi There it happened to me one time I studied for 8 hours straight a day before an exam it was for my statistics class and I overslept ( arrived after the exam), I told the professor the alarm didn't wake me and I was studying late, anyways he gave me a chance to take it, after I finished I was sooo sure that I made only 6mistakes max out of 60 problems, the next day the professor gave us the exam paper to check our mistakes and what grade we got, I looked at mine happily then when I turned the page to see I WAS SHOOKED (I got 46) I was even laughing hysterically like what is this???? Is this paper mine??????? Major disappointed that course 😔 (I got D). What I got from this experience is to never study too hard and in one go 😄
@hauntedshadowslegacy28265 жыл бұрын
To add onto what Kaede said, you really should learn the proper way to study. If studying isn't helpful enough on its own, you may need some one-on-one instruction on the material to understand it better. Research has shown that homework doesn't actually provide any benefit to most people, and those that DO see a benefit would get more benefit with personalized tutoring. So... yeah. If you don't understand the material that well, ask someone to explain it a bit more. Either that or you should focus on something else (you can't expect everyone to be a broad-stroke expert, after all).
