Hi Beautiful! Wolf cuts are honestly one of the easiest things to do to your own hair, however, somehow these people made it way overly complicated and the results were questionable.

My hair was down to my waist, and I REALLY like the look of the 'Wolf Cut'. I went back and forth over whether to cut it ..but I DID IT ! I followed your instructions, and it looks like I went to a salon and had it done (If I do say so myself) I didn't film it , but people have told me my hair looks "incredible " - and I agree. BRAD! I did your wolf cut tutorial after an awful haircut I got from an awful 'hairdresser'. I hated my hate and I already was forced to cut it due to health issues--but when I follow your wolf cut tutorial is made me feel so happy and empowered and I actually like my hair now! I did my own wolf cut (following your tutorial). I didn't video it, but it went well. It is very subtle, but it does have a lot of layers. Whenever I wake up in the morning, it has SO much volume that I don't want to brush it (which is a bad habit for me). I don't heat style my hair, and the only time I use hairspray is for work

Well it’s kinda like what you said. Wolf cuts are called that because of the image of the animals hair from the head to the neck, and wolfs hair is shaggy. And curtain bangs are called that because of the window curtains that are split in the middle and the theater curtains that split that way, however wings were never an original bang name. Wings would be what you did to your curtain bangs to expose the bang from the hair instead of it blending.

I used your wolf cut tutorial when I did mine. Love it! I did add a couple steps, but with my wavy hair, it was needed. I did a single pony on my crown, and adjusted it a bit more foreword - about midway between the crown and the very front of my hair. Then I took another hair tie and used it to mark off where I wanted to cut it, cut it, and then point cutting to thin. Then I let my hair down and sectioned off another smaller ponytail on the top of my head just a touch more forward than the last one and marked off an even shorter section to cut and point cut. Then I let it all down. Took my bangs and cut them on an a-line, then did the “overcorrect” and cross my face with one section of bang and did the thingy with the point cutting and framing the face. Dude. Brah. My man… my buddy James is a hairdresser and when he saw my new hair at the farmer’s market, he totally thought our mutual friend, Kayley (also a hairdresser) did my hair. It was one of the best compliments I’ve gotten.

I have very similar hair to the silky smooth hair lady (#2). I have ONE hairdresser I see. Shockingly, she works at Super Cuts...I know! But, she is the only person who can cut my blonde, super fine, super straight hair. My stylist, who I call "Super Sarah at Super Cuts" is the only stylist to tell me that I have a ton of hair, but it seems thin because it is so fine. She takes more time blending than actually cutting off length. She is so good. Like Brad said, if you don't have a very skilled stylist with fine, smooth hair, you see every little cut and it ends up looking choppy.

That only applyes to straight haired people. Hairdressers don't respect curly hair and seem to lack knowlage about it (at least in my country where most native people have straightish hair). They insist on wanting to fry it with blowdryers and straighteners to "see if it's even" after they've cut it wet and never put in the right amount of heatprotection either. I stopped going to them all together years ago (like 15 years) and cut it myself. It's fun and easy and I get it exactly how I want it and without any damage.

I gave myself a wolfcut back in june after watching a few of your videos (no tutorials just reactions lol). I didn't film it, but i facetimed my bsf while cutting my hair and she has some amazing screenshots of me panicking with scissors in my hand and hair falling on the floor. I took off over a foot of my hair and I grandly messed up on the bangs but it was so fun. Now it's grown out a little bit and the bangs are much better lmao

Is it possible to do a wolf cut with a side parting? I also wish there was a tutorial for making side-swept bangs with a side parting. Asymmetry just looks better with some faces.

If I were going to give myself a wolf cut, I would have your how-to video running right near-by, and I would have a friend to follow it with me and make sure I was doing it right. Why are all these young women so alone, so forgotten, doing amateur things to their hair in bathrooms?

I went from hip length hair to a wolf cut at my shoulder and it looks really professional thanks to Brad’s help :) I mean I am cutting into a jellyfish mullet in about an hour because the style is still too long for me (I’m transmasc trying to pass as a guy and I get misgendered even more now because it’s a trendy womens haircut rippppp) BUT I can vouch for the tips :) also wolf cuts absolutely work on round faces! I feel gorgeous, it just happens that I’m going for handsome instead!

I seriously appreciate your "hey, Beautiful" intro. Sometimes I watch a video that doesn't have a topic I'm really into just because I know it will always start with that positivity. Also if I had no bitties, I would 1000% go for these casually hawt open-chest looks. All these fashion choices give me LIFE.

I was cutting my bangs probably back in September (without permission lol) and now I always straighten my hair so you can't really see any mistakes. But then I remembered the wolf cut, and saw your video, and I just quickly skipped through your video then did it. And now I have these two little weird layers in the front probably like three or four inches more than my bangs and I'm not blaming you at all Brad, but anyone who wants to cut their hair DON'T do what I did.❤

As someone who has cut my own hair since I was about 16 (because I’m cheap and went through that emo mullet phase in the early 2000’s and nothing will ever be that terrible), I followed your wolf cut tutorial the other day mixed with your curtain bang tutorial and everyone keeps saying my hair looks amazing. I’ve got what I always thought was straight Filipino hair and now the Puerto Rican curls I envied from my mom show and I literally just air dry, sleep on it, and it looks like I did soft heat curls. Thank you 🤩
