Everyone who's really watched Brad knows: 1. Do not use box dye. 2. Your bleach mix should be cream consistency. 3. Section your hair in quadrants. 4. Start from the back. 5. Do the roots only after your hair is bright yellow. 6. Apply bleach in paper thin pieces. 7. Do not use paper foil in the roots. 8. Toner must NOT be permanent dye. 9. choose toner acordingly with your results, (yellow or orange). 10. If you need to retouch your root only, do not touch your already dyed hair. 11. If you have box dye, remove it with color remover before applying bleach. 12. Do not wash your hair before bleaching.

As a hairstylist who trained in the 80's the best way to remove a streak cap is - wash and condition the hair with the cap on, comb it through well, remove the cap then rinse the conditioner off...Edit Hello form Scotland, where I can't buy your products in Sally's 😭

As an 80's teenager, I can tell you the secret to removing the hell-cap. Wash the hair and put a ton of conditioner on the hair BEFORE trying to take that thing off. And if you can get your hands inside the cap, it can be stretched and torn. We used them, but we didn't pull hair through every hole. Lol

A core memory of mine was when I was in hair school and the girls wanted to touch up my highlights, i was like ok, not realizing my mothers decades of experience was sheltering me from what was to come. They put on that blue bleach like I was dressing for xmas and stuck me under the dryer for like 10 mins till the instructor came by with a horrified look on her face. I learned 2 lessons that day.

I have used countless shampoos and conditioners over the years from cheap to expensive and you want to know the one that makes my hair the softest, shiniest, and healthiest? Suave Coconut Shampoo and Conditioner. It's like $2 a bottle and it works better than any expensive brand I've ever tried. So yeah, cheap doesn't always mean bad and one person's amazing shampoo might be terrible for another and vice versa.

The fact that you want everyone to be confident in themselves is actually so reassuring. So many women either take pride in not wearing makeup or doing their hair and belittle women who do, or fall into the opposite where they belittle women who don't by saying mean phrases that start something like "just because I care about my appearance..." And essentially, women are really good at building themselves and others up, but on the internet both sides of the pick me spectrum often just rip one another to shreds, and I think a lot of us just sometimes need this level of positivity more often. :3 Having a hair stylist be so positive towards people in general instead of tearing them down, it's just so nice to see.

Well Brad I have washed my 4c hair 4 times after using xmondo super gloss. And EXCELLENT, wide tooth comb is still gliding. I I found that I can do my wash. I can condition my hair. I can put my leave in conditioner in it. I can put my oil in it if I want to. It still stays manageble and with my 4C. Hair Sometimes, when I do those things, it starts tangling even with the oil and so I always have to braid it up when I do that. Which was most of the time . and then if blow it out after a wash it' gets dry no matter how low the heat it. So I rarely blow out. IT even got a bit dry with the Revair. But after using the super gloss, its not getting dry feeling immediately. I don't have to moisturize as much. So since using one application of your XMONDO supergloss and 4 washes later, everything has been acting. Correctly like a dream.. Hair has become way more manageable wet and dry. Love you Brad. Made this 63 year old very happy. I still have pretty thick hair. So it use to be a task. Thanks 😘

I feel like people who are natural artists don't have as hard a time. I bleached my own head using foils for the first time a couple years ago and it came out great. It wasn't easy, and I could tell a less capable person would be having a way harder time. But yeah, I wouldn't discourage people from doing it on their own because it is doable, and very possible! I'm getting ready to do it again soon.

Hi Brad! As an old school hairdresser I will tell you. How to easily get a cap off. First make sure there are no knots before you apply any color. When it’s processed you shampoo the hair. Pull the cap off with the shampoo on the hair. You can even use conditioner to help the hair slide out. Overall just do not use a cap!! Please don’t! 😂

I agree with everything that you said. I went to cosmetology school at my high school and it's free you just have to buy a few of your own supplies. We practiced on the public and they got free haircuts and coloring etc. I got my license and never went into it professionally because it's a lot of money to rent a booth at a salon and you have to get a good amount of clientele. I just took it as a back up and I do my friends hair sometimes,.I am a veterinarian technician and I can groom as well. My hair is at the bottom of my butt and very thick and curly. My daughter is 8 years old and has never had a haircut other than a trim, her hair is behind her knees and we both sleep in a bonnet. She loves her long hair and doesn't want it cut. I know some people are upset when caucasian women wear a bonnet, but all races have worn them for hundreds of years. My daughter is not fully caucasian she is half Mexican and caucasian. I am so sorry about my long comment. Also have you ever watched hair Buddha? He has a channel on here and has been doing hair for a long time as well.
