@@brianchasseeprobably because that was a 3-outer to lose a hand that would otherwise cement him in 2nd, letting Adam and Dan fight out 3rd and 4th instead of him and Dan. But yeah that first 3-outer for the chop was the catalyst, he’d be in a comfortable second in the Q hand should he have won that one.
@brianchassee
@brianchassee 22 күн бұрын
@@standavidson7006 i hear you. my comment was more from the psychological perspectvie. the chop hand was frustrating but it at least made sense for villain to arrive at that spot. The turn call for a queen draw really shouldnt have happened, so for me its more tilting.
@standavidson7006
@standavidson7006 21 күн бұрын
@@brianchassee yeah I can see that. The “villain” pretty much always has 2 broadway cards there, and one of them being a queen is likely. That one does make sense, also if he did not have it that river killed any action, even a hand like AA will not call anything more than ¼ pot. That Q river though had no right to be there. That was the poker gods just saying nah Brad this ends right here

I flew out to Vegas last year for World of Concrete and played a late night tournament at the Wynn, finished 3rd, which I was VERY happy about. Keep it up man, can't wait to see you holding up a bracelet, or your name on the cup. Cheers.

Brad, congrats on the deep run. You played exceptionally well and should be proud of yourself. Those two hands where you got unlucky was heartbreaking. My favorite was the hand against Dan where you bluffed shoved with T-7. SICK bro! Great job...

Nice going Brad! Some really good play, and glad to see you enjoy your Giants victory with your bro. My wife, son, and I were just there (Pittsburgh) to see the Pirates, and Steelers play the Bills (mine & my son’s team). My wife’s a Steeler’s fan, so too bad for her on that night.

I'm not saying Adam isnt incredibly talented to get to the final table, because he is. But that was an almost UNBELIEVABLE string of luck on his side to get NUMEROUS huge pots from 5 or less outs on the river. He had to have had an angle to bluff on the river when he had Q7o, because why else would he be in that hand at that point.

Been watching for many years now Brad. Even though routing for you didn’t get you there. Congrats on a solid win at 3rd! I know you’ll do it someday. Also what an unexpected surprise for me at the end, where you make it so I get to see a little of home, in Pittsburgh. Keep grinding buddy!

Good job, useful tip, when running icm sims on whizz don’t use chip ev for icm sims, outputs completely different, I assume the 33/q4s button/bb will be a pure fold from your opponent in icm 👍
