wonderful pygmy sundews, most of them I have too (D.enodes,scorpioides,roseana...). When they produce gemmae it is easy to get a lot of them :)

Yeah, moss outgrowing them can be a problem! In my experience, I've had to put a top layer of sand to help the pygmies compete and stay ahead. Hope they all work out!

Have you ever tried pollinating the flowers? Do they self pollinate? Could you pollinate one flower from another on the same plant or would you have to cross pollinate from another plant? What about the seeds- is there one per flower, or several in a seedpod? I have so many questions lol!

D. auriculata are tuberous sundews - their seeds typically require a hot, fairly (but not completely) dry summer stratification in order to germinate at the end of autumn. They have a winter growing season. If the seeds are wet in summer the odds of them germinating are fairly low. So you did well to get them sprouting in those temperatures, I guess you got one of the more subtropical varieties.

Did you say winter time in July there? It’s Hot here.! The Sundews will they get any bigger than that? I ordered some but all died they said they will grow back, do you know if they will? Planted in sphagnum moss just got in other soil for them so going to try it see how that works. My pitcher plant doing great growing fast the pitchers are so interesting I love it! Thanks for video’s 😀
