I remember hearing the coaching staff in Tampa say that they won't change their playbook for 2 guys. And that Brady and Gronk will learn their playbook. I think they'll meet somewhere in the middle. They're going to get Brady's feedback and have him add to their playbook and Brady is also going to great lengths to learn it.

@Captain Obvious Vets even struggle in the Patriots offense due to it being loaded with option routes, making it the most complex in the NFL. Young receivers are inexperienced vs NFL defenses, which they had to read at Brady's level to run the right route. And then there's the route running itself vs NFL defenses. Its not Brady's fault 30 WRs were brought in and couldnt make the cut last year. Malcolm Mitchell was a rookie Brady had no problem with, because he picked up on the playbook and route tree and played the right way. That's why he was such a valuable piece in the 2nd half of super bowl 51.

Brady doesnt have as many interceptions and fumbles in his last 3 years combined as Winston did last year. Last time Brady played the Saints at the superdome was 2017...it was an annihilation of the Saints. Brady's record vs the whole NFC South is unfair, and he has a winning record vs every NFL division. 16-0 isnt impossible with that offense and defense, they just need some things to go their way.

People assume by Brady coming over Buccs are going to be just like Patriots in their prime. You assumed it as well by saying last time Brady played the Saints was in 2017 and it was an annihilation. That was when Brady was 3 years younger and had great chemistry with his team. A brand new team will be different. There's nothing wrong to hope, I guess, but just don't be surprised if Buccs go 10-6 this year or even 9-7. They play Saints twice, Falcons twice, Chiefs, Rams, Vikings, and Packers. The rest of the games are pretty easy though, but anything can happen. Anyway, I wish you good fortune in the wars to come.

i cried. I cried watching this. Not because im a NE fan. Not because seeing Brady work out in Tampa Bay. I cried because for as long as i can remember I saw Brady happy, I cried because i saw the excitement and the uncertainty in his eyes and in his voice. The drive of every player and every coach. This will probly be a one and done so we gotta get it right the first time. When my best friends wife who was a Indy fan threw and threw rooted for Indy and Payton after he left Indy, i didnt understand. Now being in her shoes, i understand from the deepest parts of my heart where she was coming from. Always want to see NE win, but rooting for TB12 is always in my heart.

matthew mcgowen exactly. Stallworth and Welker wasn’t popping yet. Wes has just came over to the Pats. Gaffney was an unknown and Watson was a fresh new talent. But I still don’t think those guys had the pure athleticism as these guys on the Bucs. Moss was the only one one.

Love to see it! I know this year will be a great season. I hope everyone stays safe and healthy! My dad passed away when I was young but was the biggest Brady/Patriots fan. My mom is as well, and is sad for the move of course but still excited. I think it is meant to be that I am currently in school near Tampa and have been rooting for them since I came here, and now I get to see Brady play in person. Go Bucs! :D

But this week the league announced no fans at least through September. It's going to be an interesting season. Hope you get to see them, and hope we all get to see football!

There are many greats in the NFL, but extremely few living legends. Brady is a living legend. Jim Brown, Lawrence Taylor, Barry Sanders, Joe Montana are all legendary players. Tom Brady is in that class. This is something very special to watch that doesn’t come along very often. I wish him all the success in the world as he starts this new phase of his legendary career.
