The fact they record themselves, they realize there is a system in place which protects them from their criminally. White people did this. They never expected that not holding these pigs accountable for the last 150 years would have empowered them enough to no longer see whites as their masters, but now see them as subjects too. Nazi sympathizers and Jim Crow supporters. White people have said not guilty for lynchings and victim blamed because of their hatred of the other. Now the police see whites as the other. It's clear that they learned nothing from the last excessive force case against them. How many citizens are in jail now, because the prosecutor failed to notify the defense that the arresting officer was on the Brady list! Initiating physical contact with a citizen (the initial grabbing and swinging) without announcing your intention is a battery!! As a citizen, I would be at a significant disadvantage if I cannot read minds and cops expect me to comply... In fact, my inability to read minds only makes it more likely that cops would have to escalate with force to get me to comply... @@buyerofsorts trained professional observers...LOL I have been asked some of the dumbest questions by cops. One time I got pulled over in winter, I was driving a 68 convertible. He asked me what all the blankets in my car were for, and if I was living in my car. I had to explain my uninsulated convertible top, and Winter to him. Even though it was cold and he was standing 12 inches away from my very thin top. Worthless I tell ya

When you see the officer pushing his head into the ground and then shoving his thumb behind his ear, that is a pressure point that inflicts extreme pain. What exactly has he done to have that torture inflicted upon him?

@bc2578

@@learnhope7895 I think that's the mandibular nerve complex....very painful....cops put pressure there to make you squirm and react so they can scream at you to stop resisting and do worse. And actually, it is used to force compliance, because anything that makes you scream, "OK, OK, OK, OK, OK, I'm sorry," is usually followed immediately with the victim complying with whatever makes the pain stop. Street cops are bad, but they can sometimes show some restraint since their victim might be a judge's child or whatever, and citizens can film, etc...But you should see what prison guards get away with daily, with no cameras, with victims that garner little sympathy with the public, unless they are black or hispanic......It's a grimy game.....

They pushed it right up till trial because the man was representing himself had he had a lawyer involved they would have dismissed the charges way before jury day.

Think about that. Representing himself and the cops' veracity was so bad they had to drop the case. And there's the pesky video. What an injustice, if you can't do what he did and receive no help but several felonies from a prosecutor we are all effed.

Didn’t help him but if his charges were valid let it go to jury trial. It got dropped because they knew they would loose in front of a jury. Those jury people must have been pissed spending time for nothing.

The prosecutor needs to be dis-barred and brought up charges and then sued civilly. She KNEW that the officer was on the Brady list and could not testify in court, yet she strung this man on for 10 months. The fact that she thought she could withhold the fact the he was on the Brady list and the reason why further nails her coffin shut. Anyone who thinks that she just found out the morning of the trial that Alvarado was caught trying to cheat the taxpayers of Phoenix needs a lobotomy. The sole reason for overcharging this man and then dropping the charges was to extend the time they had before he slammed them with a federal civil rights lawsuit.
