I think that his interpretation calls for letting the music speak for itself given that all the players can play it. But one has to admire the cleanliness of the participants and their harmonious collaboration.

Show orchestra playing the music not the scenery damn it. Muddy opening so-so, and funny unconventional key. I don't like this.
