This is one of the best performances I ve ever heard of Brahms 111. Virtuosity at service of music in the most beautiful and moving way. I don t care about poor audio. Camera and video edition are better than most other classical music videos. Great! Thank you very much.

This is Brahms at his heroic hedonistic best and this team throw themselves at it with all guns blazing. Contemporary Brahms playing tends to be understaded and undertempo, just a little apologetic, but not here. The playing is up tempo and the approach is bold and big. I love it.

Never seen pinky play second except to ITZY perlman. But he does bring out the countermelodies delightfully so. just HOLY CRAP at 12:31, 12:46,glorious clashes of gods fighting RAGNAROK!

This group of famous musicians performs this incredibly well, as they do the piano quintet as well. My favorite despite (or because of?) the iffy video and audio quality.

Do you have the performance of the piano quintet from this same performance? Somebody uploaded the 4th and part of the 3rd mvmt on KZbin and it's one of the best I've ever heard but I've never been able to track down the other two movements..
