Great content my man!. Subbed immediately. Im completely lost atm and i thought i knew gaming. This is totally new and different from ES main games. (Not a problem).So far the hardest part of the videos on you tube...is...with this collection (certainly on ps5) that new tutorial on isle of balferia coupled with the ps5 menu system being COMPLETELY different from pc its just a nightmare to understand. Do you do videos on latest console versions starting from the new bafaria tutorial ? I want to start this game from essentially the very very start

@saltedkeshewnut97373 жыл бұрын
Before you fight the last boss in your vet dungeon, you have to use the scroll. You will always find it before you can start the last boss fight on vet. Some dungeons like in city of ash, you will have to do a specific interaction to enable hard mode, you have to use the frigid tome to enable hard mode if I remember correctly. Check your dungeon achievements for tips.

I realize that this is a video for beginners, and this isn't necessarily a beginner question, but... you explained why researching is important, and I agree. My question is.. is it important for every character? If I have a main character who has researched all of the traits (or pretty close... my first character is down to his last eight traits needing researched... six of which are researching now) and is my main crafter, does it matter if my other characters have or have not researched the traits?

One crafting character is enough, you'll get enough skill points to max out each crafting skill. No need to do it on every character 😉

Ok here is a newb question (playing less than 3 days now) i was hoping to see the answer for but still haven't yet. When I press M I pull up the map. It shows me the local zone. How do I zoom out so that it shows me the full continent map? And is this the same as traveling via weyshrine? Because the list of zone names (none of which I know and are therefore useless) to the right at the wayshrine is a hot pile of dung, imo.

Thanks for a lot of useful guides! I just started my adventure in ESO few days ago and your video are veeeery helpful! Yet, there is one thing which bothers me as a new player and I have not found any info abut this system in both your channer and generally in eso guides. This thing is decreasing power of my character while leveling. I am used to situation when gaining levels in games raise my stats. But in ESO power of my core spells and other stats are being reduced after each gained level. This is to be honest quite depressing. I know that it is somehow related with this "one Tamriel" update but no details. Maybe you could put more light to this topic? There can be more begginer players which have problem with understanding this (and maybe explaining this will prevent them from giving up).
@grumpybear34433 жыл бұрын
generally speaking the monsters are all lvl 50 (cp 160, not so important, a progress system after your normal lvl, you can ignore that for now). What happens is you get scaled to this until you reach lvl 50. But it is a dynamic scaling, so a lvl 3 will get more bonus stats than a lvl 30, because the game assumes that you are collection gear that will give you more stats the higher you get. Now if you are lvl 30 and still wearing lvl 3 gear, you are missing stats. You can still do stuff but the numbers itself will decrease. So you might want to check your gear. You do not need to go buy stuff, that would be over the top, but if you drop something that is better than what you are wearing, go and equip it. Later your passives make up a huge portion of your character as well, but you do not necessarly need it in the beginning (scaling is stong enough to help you out there), personally I would rather unlock the active skills while leveling. Of course it will not hurt you in either way, feel free to chose what you want to do that is only my personal preference, you can respec if you don't like what you did any time so no harm done ;)
@baryb833 жыл бұрын
@@grumpybear3443 Thank you for very much for such detailed answer! That is exactly what I missed and should be more often explained in begginner videos. I started to develop active skills (and few passieves which in my opinion are more useful at this level). I was just suprised that my "raw" stats are going lower each level. This is rather uncommon in RPGs (but now clear) . ;) Regarding this leveling- then my raw stats will finally start to rise after lvl 50 or cp160?
@grumpybear34433 жыл бұрын
I honestly don't remember, at the time I did not Look into my stats... but as one tends to get proper Sets only at CP 160, max lvl for Gear, probably that will be the point you are looking for, but maybe someone else has a better answer to that

One of the most popular? Based on player base size on steam charts it seemed pretty low to me. Of course that’s not counting console and non-steam but it definitely seems to be pretty low. I’ve read this is because of bad decision making by the devs that causes veteran players to leave en masse.
