Braided Flower Updo, Easter & Prom Hairstyles

A pretty updo using braids to form a "hair flower." Perfect for Easter Sunday, Prom, Flower Girls, Brides, etc.
This classic braided hairstyle is quite easy to create as long as you know how to french braid. Strategically stretching the edges of the braids to emphasize the "flower petals" really makes this updo pop. ;)

FWIW, when I do double French braids like this I part down the middle then take some from both sides of the part in the front and cross them over. This gives the effect of a side part while still giving 2 equal braids. Using barrettes to keep them in place until they're incorporated into the braids helps. Not that the braids were noticeably uneven in the video anyway. ;)

You should try it with Dutch braids instead of French :)
