i used to have my hair styled like that when i was little...the front part braided and the rest curly and free...i dont do it now because i dont know how to do braids really well, but you can do the same hairstyle twisting the front part instead of braiding it...thanks for the tutorial, it looked beautiful

cutenss Shrinkage is part of the deal. Trying to force stretch will likely land you with breakage or you'll disturb the natural elasticity of your hair. For a wash-n-go, it's based on setting the natural curl pattern, so if it ends up being lots of shrinkage, embrace it. You'll wear yourself out otherwise.

I've noticed that my hair breaks more when I'm wearing no heat styles as opposed to straightening it. I'm always super gentle with it and work in section, I finger detangle, used wide combs and it still breaks. I even use anti-breakage products. Mo, or anyone else, do you have any tips that will help?
