i used to have my hair styled like that when i was little...the front part braided and the rest curly and free...i dont do it now because i dont know how to do braids really well, but you can do the same hairstyle twisting the front part instead of braiding it...thanks for the tutorial, it looked beautiful

And if you hear of any specials on your recommended products -from liquids to flatirons- please post updates. I am dying to buy the ferrum flat iron, however, the cost is quite hefty. This is soooo cute. I am going to get my sister to braid my hair, so I can wear this style. My hair would look cute like this :) Can you recommend a product/products that will not cause such shrinkage for wash n 'go styles? Or any techniques to help combat it. Thanks

cutenss Shrinkage is part of the deal. Trying to force stretch will likely land you with breakage or you'll disturb the natural elasticity of your hair. For a wash-n-go, it's based on setting the natural curl pattern, so if it ends up being lots of shrinkage, embrace it. You'll wear yourself out otherwise.
