Wow, Veterinary Neurosurgeon! The sad thing is that they do just as much work as human neurosurgeons but don’t get paid as much 🙁

True. But I don’t know any veterinary neurosurgeons that are worried about how much they make. In general, we all do just fine with regards to pay, but none of us do it because of the money. It’s our passion - our purpose - and getting paid is a bonus.

How did Pom do?

Hi there. He did great for about a year. The tumor came back just over a year later. I believe he received radiation when it recurred. We typically recommend it right after surgery, but owner couldn’t at the time.
