WHO THE FUCK IS VIOLET?! 🤣 Yes. Ren is a fucking genius. Anyone who watches this masterpiece and still doesn’t get it must have glued the money bag to their face. Great reaction. Actually well done being able to say so much. I was honestly just in a state of shock after seeing it the first time at the premiere 😅 The only coherent thought I could come up with was that if Netflix doesn’t give this man his own show, they’re idiots 😂 Guess we will find out sometime this year if they are… Also thank you for putting this out before taking a week off!! Your RENactions will be missed, but I hope you have a great birthday 🎈 ❤ And then come back to us in the rabbit hole 🐰🕳️ You still have so much and so many more sides of Ren to discover 😅 Edit: oh forgot to say, there is one cut when the camera goes behind the wheelchair. But it’s out of necessity. Ren only had the one tailored suit so without making everyone wait for it to dry, they only had one chance to do the ending with the rain 😅

Ren is this generation's musical genius whose talent can stand shoulder to shoulder with those from my time. He writes, composes, plays various instruments, produces his music and videos, raps, and sings, as well as markets and distributes. He doesn't need a studio or label. He's the whole package.
@katrinakent168411 ай бұрын
This reaction was worth the wait. There’s also a video on the making of this video and Ren’s attention to detail is amazing. Even down to the gun having to be a 45 calibre so that it ties in with the lyrics and Ren insisted he had the right bullets for the gun but of course couldn’t use lives the way he was waving the gun around, so he had to swap them with blanks out of sight of the camera. It was a one-take but I believe in two parts because his mic on his jacket had to be removed for the rain scene (and it was a custom made suit that wouldn’t have had time to dry out for another take so they had to get it right first time). One of the violinists was accidentally caught in the ‘rain’ too, you can see from the puddles forming on the floor and how she subtly moves her bow out of the way. Again, testament to the professionalism that she didn’t flinch from unexpectedly getting wet! Genius!

Ren asked the fans to club together & pay for Wolf Johnson to fly over to England to film the behind the scenes footage for this video. Man, I love listening to and playing The Doors, Pink Floyd, The Eagles, Talking Heads… but these are bands that were more or less “done” before I got into them. Beyond Ren resonating lyrically and culturally more than any of these other bands, the fact that this journey is live, and interactive (an example of social networking done right), and really only just beginning leaves no room for doubt (in my mind at least) that this is a truly unique experience in the history of art. And we are genuinely a part of it. Awesome reaction as always Mark. Noticed that for all the ADHD, you were dead still and silent during that final stanza 😉🤯. #icanrelate

"This world don't give a damn about you so take all that you can". It comes in many variations, sometimes even from love for the children and fear that the world will eat them up. But it has the same result, placing the individual against the society, in a rat race against the fellow man for a piece of the pie. We laugh as the other falls not realising that we are bound to fall together.

I grew up listening to bands like Pink Floyd, ELO, and Led Zeppelin. Ren is NOW. I love all those other bands and artists as well, but I’ve walked this earth for 48 years and nothing hits me like Ren. Maybe it’s because we share some of the same views. Maybe it’s because he’s a very humble and very real person. Maybe it’s because he makes such great music without having to bow to a label…whatever the reason doesn’t really matter at all. There are a million+ Renegades out there who agree. He’s like no one else. For each hater that fucks off, three Renegades will replace him. Also, WE won’t hate if you react to something else. As we say in the states, that’s just not how we roll.

I also get another massage from this. Jimmy isn't motivated by the money but by chasing his fathers aproval. He wants to make his father proud, all kids chase love and exceptance, especially from our parents. As Parents we often focus to much on getting our kids ready to survive on their own in this world and forget the importance of letting them know we love them unconditionally. Love and be loved by his father is the true happines Jimmy wanted but his father pointed him in the wrong direction to find it. So when his father died his chase became meaningles. #Ren

Next you mentioned Ren's shirt not being tucked in. In an interview, Ren mentioned this. He wanted it tucked in at this point but did not realize it was untucked. Frankly, the dissheveled nature of the look was amazing. What you do not see if when Ren take the clip he loaded and underhanded off-camera swaps it with an unloaded clip with the cameraman's backup. The genius of that ending! Recreating the entire chorus from the first 2 parts but without singing it. Then you realise that, as the ending is also a summary of Jimmy's life, Jimmy's entire story is actually a detailed expansion of the chorus from the first 2 parts! Money Game 3 is an exploration of the chorus from Money Game 1 and 2! He even emphasises the point by ending the song with the line that precedes the chorus in 1 and 2! The suicide even echoes the ending of part 1 but the reasons for the suicide are very different. No potential protest here. The whole trilogy comes full circle and eats it's own tail. Round and round we go. All part of the money game...

Thank you, Mark. Part 3 is such an evolution of the Money Game theme and it was good to see you experiencing it. I love Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, 70's and a lot of other music, including Tom McDonald, Eminem, NF and much more BUT how proud does it make us that genius is homegrown? Ren is so diverse, his collaboration with Eden Nash on Humble and Ocean are fantastic. His 'take' on the story of creation in 'Eden' is one of the few things that people aren't sure about (not me though) but with so many genres, there's something for everyone.

I’m so adhd I’m watching you to see things that I realize about my own adhd, just by watching you. I think that’s kinda dope too. Ren and NF specifically, it seems like the people that gravitate towards those artists, we tend to be feeling or seeing something that we can’t define in the moment. But the. Ren or NF just spells is out and “we” can go “oh fuck. That’s what I was trying to say!” I personally think our ADHD, “ neurodivergent” minds are the next evolution of humans, the rest of the world just hasn’t caught up yet. Multitasking is an art form. Amazing reaction Hector, I love your format- listen through once then break it down- your mind is incredible 🎢 ! Please check out Ren’s Eden. This was released as the culmination of the actual Money Game that Ren devised, in his genius. It was as an actual series of games where the community had to solve riddles around the 7 sins in order to win actual money. These games were an incredible stand alone masterpiece, however, the messaging is integral to his message in the MG series. So much so that I reckon that Eden on a certain level is actually MG2.1 (it was released a few days before MG3). I would really love to see your take.

🎂 just had my birthday recently. Your reactions have been such a gift. I only got into reactions because of Ren, the excitement and genius he generates. You’re the only reactor I want to watch for what you’re bringing to the table. And it’s f**king magical. Have a wonderful birthday🥳🫶

Firstly Happy Birthday Hector! 🎉 Secondly, brilliant reaction as always ❤ The fact Ren snuck in the chorus from the other two MG songs into our brains by just dripping water from the ceiling and then saying 'then he presses on the trigger of the money game' to the melody as a back up trigger to the chorus, is utter genius! Plus not only is he a master guitarist but also a brilliant pianist too and did u know Ren composed the whole score (except for the first bot he played at the beginning)?! Anyway...I thought I'd recommend a proper singing one next. Try Chalk Outlines with Chinchilla (another independent British artist) or watch him with his band The Big Push singing Who Shot the Sheriff medly (pick the video where Ren is wearing the red braces as it's the best version). If you fancy something more upbeat, do Losing It (no singing, all rap to a Fisher EDF track) which is awesome!
