Just FYI, Ren references a Swanton Bomb (Hardy Brothers) in quite a few of his tracks. It's a wrestling reference, but more specifically, it's a nod to his friend Joe, whom he lost. That's how Ren has recounted meeting Joe, when they were just kids, by Joe flipping off the back of the couch, directly to the floor, performing a "Swanton Bomb" for laughs.

Yes, this is correct, but the team was called the Hardy Boyz, which was billed as a brothers tag team with Matt and Jeff Hardy. They were part of many wrestling companies, including the WWE. The swanton bomb was a move used by Jeff mainly during their matches. Also, Joe Hughes Ren's friend did do it for laughs , as stated above.

They filmed this in an old Argos warehouse that was being squatted in by addicts. They got threatened a fair bit and had stuff nicked but Ren loved the vibe of the place and they managed to get the video shot without anyone getting hurt. I saw a bts on IG where they had a cameraman on a skateboard being dragged backwards to get a nice pan out. 😂

A Swan-ton bomb like Hardy Brothers… a wrestling move performed by the Hardy brothers. They leap off the top turnbuckle keeping their bodies straight and arms out-stretched, making it resemble a swan dive, and then waiting until the last moment to execute the flip, so that they just barely complete it when impacting with the opponent REN has said the first time he ever met Joe (his best friend that he lost) he watched him do a Swanton bomb off the back of the couch and land on his back. Laid there motionless for a second then Joe got up laughing and did it again.
