Both Ren and Chinchilla finnished with the same management company at the same time Ren went on and did the song Power and Chinchilla did this I believe they screwed her over big time . Were very critical of her wieght ( Hence the exaggerated shape of her coat and pulling her down lines . ) this is her just telling them she can make it on her own .and dont mess with her . I keep telling everyone that I have never seen a more epic performance than this. I think she's speaking towards the puppet master; and she's freeing herself. She's like 19 y.o. and performing it without an audience during the lockdown. Still, we feel the authenticity and suppressed rage.

There’s a guy named Chris Liepe who does reactions but also breaks down the vocal work in the songs. He does this one and you really should watch it if you enjoyed this video a lot, because he shows just how impressive the whole thing is. My favorite insight was how she holds that ridiculous long note-and then you 100% expect her to come back with the quiet voice, but no she stays at exactly the same power and octave she was just at, from dead silence. Like a vocal 0 to 100 on the dime. Also, shout out to that piano. Gorgeous.

I knew you would hear it. Not everyone can, you know, hear the deeply tied emotions to each musical expression. It is a soul snatcher. She'll put it in that box...with his fingers. You also noticed her clothing choice. Few people mention it. She almost never shows skin. Probably the, "most revealing," outfit she has worn, if you can even call it revealing, was in Little Girl Gone video. I don't think she's a prude. My guess is her label wanted to sexualize her image, she left the label and now wants to cut his fingers off. And forever more she will make sure everyone knows that it was her talent that raised her, not her body.

All I can say BrainSqueeze is that was an F'ng brilliant reaction. As you seemed to enjoy the live version of Fingers, may I suggest to try the studio version next brefore moving onto Chinchilla's other songs - the video is also on Chinchilla's channel. Although its more pop orientated it does demonstrate Chinchilla's production chops, insane (in many ways) performance characterisation and inventive storytelling. Chinchilla developed complete backstories for the six characters she plays in the video (inverse Henry VIII vibe), that is set around a Cluedo theme including a 'chalk outline figure' (which was likely one of the sparks to the song 'Chalk Outlines' that she co-wrote later the same year with Ren). It also contrasts Chinchilla's genuis and skill at being able to recast her songs as completely different concepts between their Live vs Studio performances.
