Did you have to drain the brake fluid prior to or can you just switch out the hose without doing anything else?

You will loose some brake fluid as you disconnect the line, I usually try to cap it off but you don’t have to. You will have to bleed that wheel when you’re done to get the air out. While the hose is disconnected do not touch the brake pedal or you’ll get air in the whole system and have to rebleed the whole system, watch your fluid level before driving.

@@DohmSpeedShop awesome. thank you. I'm having the exactly same problem with my patriot. Changed pads, caliper and rotor, so hopefully this fixes it.
