Bikeman my technique is a little bit different, could you tell me if it's wrong? I actually put the brake pads loose as you did first then dial it in too while applying the brake lever. I also put something thin (less than 1mm) like a credit card or something else between the leading egde and the rim. That way i get the pads to come at an angle with the rim and also centered with the rim and all that. I'm sure there are lots of ways to do the same job anyway. Good series there Bikeman! cheers

I don't know why but my VBrake is just sliding on the rim like nothing. There is very little space between rim and shoe but when I squeeze the brake I don't stop. This has never happened b4 when I put VBrakes together. They usually work really well. This one is brand new also.
