I really enjoyed the events from the Branch & Claw expansion. I felt like the game somehow became easier for me! In a way that it became more convenient to play. Previously I often found myself stuck with analysis paralysis trying to calculate the perfect turn! And I haven’t experienced that after adding the B&C. The game is much more enjoyable for me now! And by the way your review is great! Thanks, keep it up👍

Thanks for the kindness. That is certainly one effect of the event cards. That dash of the unpredictable means perfect turns are less required since several island factors can tip the scales in multiple directions. One of many reasons why I love them!

Nice review but I totally disagree on the Events: 1. The random element almost always messes with your strategies and planning 2. 95% of the time events are harmful, other 5% of the time they totally whiff because you got lucky 3. I never felt the:"living breathing island" just the: "one more thing I have to track and it's not even fun"
