My 14 yr old son got a helicopter ride out of this area because of some drunk f**k. (total asshole) When it happened, there was nobody around. By the time (45 mins later) I climbed into the right seat of the Medical Helicopter there were 100's of onlookers. When it happens to your kid.....(can't describe) (tears falling as I type) He suffered a broken left femur, broken left hand (several bones) and a contusion above his left eye. Unconscious for about 10 mins (seemed like forever) ....all while completely dressed in riding gear. Long ride to Loma Linda Hospital....they were 100% awesome...met us on the roof helo-pad....pilot set it down so gently. (like something you'd see in a movie) They took VERY good care of my boy.....eventually healed completely with a titanium rod permanently installed in his femur. Rule no. 1. If you can't see what's in front of you, assume it's a little kid playing in the sand/dirt. Slow down people!

Just wow. It is the worst when a drunk or drugged up rider runs into you, you know it was their impairment that was a choice that caused all the pain & suffering. I had a girl dirtbiker broadside me at 2 trails intersection while we were both going about 20mph & we both flipped off our bikes. My trail was the main but neither of us knew the trails crossed & with a half second to react, boom! She got a broken wrist & me, broken ribs & a separated shoulder = a month without being able to dress myself or lift anything & don't laugh or cough.
