Hey Matt, thank you for this review. I have to say that this is one of the more articulate and thorough reviews I've ever seen. Liked and subscribed :) The Acadia AT4 is in the top 3 of new vehicles I want to buy in the next couple of years (Sierra 1500 AT4 and Ford Tremor). Thanks for covering the rear seats in such detail. Rear seat comfort is a significant factor for me since my family and I do a lot of long-distance driving, passenger comfort is key. This review really boosts the Acadia for me. Great work here, thanks!

There is no sensor underneath for the hatch. Its activated when you stand beside the hatch for 3 sec. It can be deactivated in settings.

I absolutely love this vehicle GMC nailed it on the design, features, technology, etc., however I can’t get with the 2.5 4 banger. Give it a nice 3.5 V6 w/ 375hp and 380lb ft of torque (or more) and I’m all in or better yet make it a hybrid w/ more power instant torque and gas mpg in the 30s-40s

Amen!

It is not physically possible to generate that high torque from a conventional 3.5-4.0L V6. Honda are the masters of conventional V6 engines, they would have done it by now if it were possible.

@@sinfam7756 I can’t respond to ignorance it can be done and has been done smh 🤦🏾♂️

This is a great looking vehicle. I would suggest GMC replace the 2.5 Turbo with the 2.7 Turbo found in the GMC Canyon and Chevy Colorado. Families want a second row 40/20/40 bench seating with rear Sun shades and a locking Gas door. Also I would move the reverse lights off the rear bumper and upward onto the rear tailgate. It would look sweet in the GM Ice Silver exterior color.

Thanks for the tips! Now, why replace it with the 2.7 Turbo? Even the HO has less power than this 2.5. Maybe its smoother.

The rear windows are deep,dark tinted, and there is no need for a sunshade.

Between the AT4 and the Denali, did you feel any difference in ride quality and cabin quietness, particularly for highway drives?
@MattTheCarguy2 ай бұрын
Unfortunately i wasnt able to take it on an extended test drive but for a short drive they both were equally quiet.

Question: with the third row seats folded down, can the middle row seats still be pushed fully back and reclined ?
@MattTheCarguy3 ай бұрын
@@jnmc-vx4fw good question. I want to say yes, but remembered that I could not fold the third row seats without moving the second row. I will be at GMC dealership in the next few days and will try to solve this mystery.

I have one and I don't like that I cant customize the displays, the center Google display is so boring being black and white, and you cant remove the unwanted icons. The driver display should have more options to show more information, other than that its great!

That is a charging port behind the third seat on the right-hand side, and as far as walking around to let the second row seat down, American is getting so lazy.
@MattTheCarguy4 ай бұрын
The charging port behind the 3rd row is not very convenient when you need to charge something in the 2nd row seat ( trust me, first hand experience, cables are getting tangled and if you have anything behind the third row seat like groceries it will bump the plug out of the socket. And as far as letting the seats down in the 2nd row, its definitely a convenience feature , but one that does not cost a lot and it a part of most competitors. I like what they did with it but there are some opportunities for improvement. Thank you for watching!
