I got the gen 1 in 3/8 I’m going to use it for lighter stuff. I ordered the new one in 1/2 for the middle stuff. Anything that the new stubby won’t remove I’ll bust out the high torque.

Didn't know about the new retention system. I'm considering a 1/2 for light duty stuff.

I just bought my milwaukee 3/8th impact the old style. I should have waited and bought the new one.😂

Is there a huge difference with using the 5.0 HO battery and the 6.0 XC older battery with the newer impacts?

I wouldn’t say huge difference but I do notice it for sure

I don’t own any of these, should I wait for the new model to come in and purchase (approx two weeks) or buy old model now?

How does it compare to your Snapon CT9038? With fitting into tight spaces and real world comparison in power.
@Enrightauto5 ай бұрын
Fits in way better. Haven’t compared them side by side yet because I don’t really like the 3/8” version from Milwaukee to be honest. It vibrates like crazy and just isn’t enjoyable to use. The 1/2” is way better imo. I’ll be doing comparisons soon.

@Enrightauto Good to know, i already own the Snapon CT9038 and Dewalt DCF923 for my compact high power needs. A small suggestion for your next review, using the smaller battery, could you show where the Milwaukee fit's compared to the ct861? I'll probably just get the 1/2" variant from your last comment. Thank you for the info.

Apakah masih sama dengan model lama grease sering meluber ke belakang, ke bagian dinamo? Atau sudah ada perbaikan?

It’s not twice the power it’s only 50-100 ft lbs over the other one with a 6 amp battery.

looks like milwaukee changed the grip again...hate it. I sold my old model for this and am really not into the mode change and the grip. Now the grip moves up further.
