Brand New Bait puts over 30 pounds of Smallmouth in the boat!

Eric and I recently went up to upstate New York and fished Canadian waters and we ended up having a spectacular day of smallmouth fishing! We caught a lot of fish And some really good ones are heaviest five went 30 pounds and we had way to many to count over 4 pounds.
All of the fish came on the Great Lakes Finesse lineup of Baits. With the drop minnow doing most of the damage. We rigged that bait on an underspin and we also used it as a Ned. I really wanted to give these Baits a work out and we certainly did! I encourage anyone who’s looking at getting their hands on a bait that is unusual and different, to help you gain an edge when it comes to your smallmouth fishing to give these beats a try!

From 1999-2004 just north of North Bass Island "The Chicks Reef" was the best smallmouth fishing I've ever experienced. Every spring when the water temperature reached 45° I'd take Wednesdays off and would spend the whole day fishing. It wasn't uncommon to catch 125 smallies for 500 lbs. Watching this video reminds me of those days.

We fished a tournament down here on Pickwick and got second place lat year. I looked at my buddy and asked do you wanna go have some fun. We caught 3 to 5 lb smallmouth for two hours. So I COMPLETELY understand “keep on whacking em”. Great video guys.
