Nice new tractor. Fun fact. The new Challenger is sold by Cat dealers however there not manufactured by them anymore. AGCO Is the manufacturer of the Challenger. Still a great looking machine.

My family has a 2018 mt 743 they are very great smooth machines. We purchased it new in April We are going to try ours on grain cart next week for winter wheat harvest on our 800 acres. We plan on double cropping soybeans after the wheat . You will really enjoy that demo . Nice video stay safe and farm on my friends !

Old Challenger is Cat and a new Challenger is AGCO. Maybe Chet was a bit confused and kept saying Cat because the Cat dealer ( Which sells AGCO in MN and IA) wanted him to demo an AGCO Tractor? Either way that new iron is one sweet piece of machinery!

Seeded with a challenger for a few years. Pulls like an ox when chipped up but does not turn worth a damn and drags you into the sloughs. The more you try to wiggle out the more stuck you get. Articulated quad tracks are the only way to go

Your dealer is probably a CAT dealer but this isn't a CAT tractor. This is an AGCO tracted tractor. It has an AGCO Fendt CVT and an AGCO Power engine. Designed and built in Jackson, MN.

Thats NOT an American Caterpillar but a GERMAN FENDT 900 Vario MT and it goes from 380 hp, 405 hp to 431 hp. Even i am a true John Deere LOVER, i have to admitt that Fendt is the best tractor brand in the world and that hurts but it's true.

Ok everyone. It is not a CAT. It has nothing to do with cat. It is an Agco Challenger. It has an Agco cvt transmission. It has an Agco power engine. The caterpillar corporation has had nothing to do with these tractors since 2002.

You are so lucky to be able to use atrazine -it is totally banned along with many other similar products here in the UK. There is a real risk that Roundup (or any version of glyphosate) will also be banned within a few years as approval for use only just squeaked through for an extra 5 years in 2017!!

The entire power train is built by AGCO subsidiaries. They are still painted Cat yellow and built-in Jackson MN.

You're half right....these tractors use a hydrostatic pump and motor to control the speed of a planetary gear transmission, to give you stepless speed control.

Nope youre wrong! CVT works with a metal belt that’s tensiond between two pulleys that get adjusted hydraulicly and therefore change in size and automatically adjust the speed and torque! Hydraustatic drive is a pomp thats beeing driven and therefore pumps oil to drivemotor and you have power.
