Yeah for example the (seemingly) great FTX Stinger can be found in Ali but it's so expensive there. To bad FTX seems to be an UK exclusive brand. Shipping and taxes usually make it an uneconomical choice for me to order from the UK nowadays with the Brexit going on ...

I have the Eachine EC35 (HBX?) from BG which these are based on and it's really simple to get it to slide like seen in the video on a sufficiently slippery surface. They come with a drift gyro. I am a total RC noob and just started the hobby earlier this year but on my tile floor it was super easy to get it to slide/drift.

Got an EC35 too. Neat little car that can regularely be bought for 35 - 45€ at BG (during sales / with coupons). Got mine for 37€ with 3 battery packs. I imagine this car to be great fun for kids. I certainly know it's fun for big kids.

Hey Tomley (or anyone else), I am looking for some advice on a first build kit. I do have a couple years experience with RC cars and I am not affraid to take them appart and completly rebuild them, so I think it is now well time for a build kit. I am looking for an affordable kit that is especially fun to build. How it drives is less relevant to me, i just want a great time building a RC car this winter. Please tell me if you have some ideas!

if you upgrade the tyres to actual proper drift tyres and radio to a radiolink with an upgraded gyro and faster steering servo you can get proper drift performance... yeah it ends up costing as much as a proper drifter but its worth it? kinda
