I bought new hiper beadlocks and two of the beadlock bolts dont go all the way down before they get tight. The part that does thread in is perfect. the threads in the rims brass insert appear to be fine. The one needs to go down about 1/4" and the other about an 1/8". Is this normal to sometimes happen? Its my first set of hipers ever.do you think i just need to run a thread chaser down thru. The tip of the bolts that gets tight to early has the last two threads finish rubbing off slightly from excess friction. I dont wanted to try and tighten it to much so the insert doesnt spin.it came like that when i received them on friday

Is there any any benefits to running the front tires the different directions, outside knobs facing in or out?
@ononewheel73 жыл бұрын
So i have heard w the outer knobs facing in it steers easier! With the knobs facing out you get a better bite for climbing out of ruts! I have tried them that way but dont like the feel of it! Look at all the racers out there its just about mixed about 50/50 each way!
@amacracing93 жыл бұрын
@@ononewheel7 I have noticed that watching races, was always curious as to why some had them going the opposite way. Figured it had to have something to do with traction somewhere. Thanks, that hyper and gbc combo looks amazing!!!

@conniestevenson2263 жыл бұрын
The front end will want to wander like having the front toe out having the tires the one way, but the steering will bite quicker when steering which will require more effort to steer since the tires biting in will create more resistance.and the other way the tires with work like having tires toed in like normal and easier steering effort.

Why did you use a dremmel to cut something out?

To make a notch in the mod ring for the valve stem/open up a spot for the socket to fit in the wheel for installation/removal of the rim. The mod rings have an added section inside the ring to hold the mud plug.

@ononewheel73 жыл бұрын
Singles are ok but for racing especially the duals really add extra protection!
@conniestevenson2263 жыл бұрын
I pike them because they add strenth too inner edge like reinforment rings.plus the beadlock make the side wall stiffer since the beadlocks clamp farther up the tire sidewall then non beadlocks simple rim bead lip
