Johnny Miller got much grief in his day for saying on air that a player "choked" when he clearly choked. Most on air hosts/commentators nowadays are so careful not to say anything that even remotely offens, players or more importantly corprate sponsors, boring ..... I have seen much Brandel hate over his career. But when he called it as he saw it with P. Reed , Brandel expressed clearly what I and many others were thinking. You can't do that! Glad that lawsuit went the way it did. Brandel's style works for me, but would be happiest with Peter Alliss calling golf events from heaven.

from the years i have been watching golf channel, Brandel Chamblee has aways been a half empty type of person. he aways talked poorly of Tiger woods and just about every other golfer, why does Golf Channel keep him around??

Brandel Chamblee should recognize that Phil's accomplishments on the PGA tour and in USGA events made him an automatic inductee into the Hall of Fame. Also, by Brandel's logic, Grrg Norman should be removed from the Hall of Fame, and all the other golfers who moved over should automatically be disqualified and ineligible for induction into the Hall of Fame. My suggestion is that Brandel wake up and see that Golf is Golf and that LIV might actually help save the PGA Tour. Phil is a Hall Famer, one of the all-time greats of the game. His record and his contributions prove it. Brandel, you're the one who should never be allowed into the Hall of Fame.
