My children's mother, my wife, died when they were both small. As tragic as it was and still is, I am thankful I have had the opportunity to not only be Dad, but to be "Mom" too. Today I have a new partner in life who is trying her best to fit in with her new family and we love her for it.

I sit in the parking lot of daycare dreading the responsibilities of this child, and the other two, that I was so blessed to create. They have stolen my time, but the return has been nothing less than miraculous. I am tired. I grieve the loss of myself, but Brandi put it so perfectly in this song, that I’m hearing for the first time. All of the losses that I believe exist, I will gain again one day, through their eyes. It's not that they are "haters" which is an adjective that is so easy to throw out there regarding replies which you disagree with. We have different beliefs in what the covenant of marriage, and who makes up the family according to God's word and which is designed by God. I'm not going to quote anything from the Bible to you. We have different beliefs which you may not understand We also have the right to speak about them. It has nothing to do with sexuality and everything to do with obeying God's word and living the life He created for us.
