Being over 40 and building a personal brand is a unique experience - it's both a personal reinvention and a digital revamp that requires a lot of introspection. I've found that many of the approaches to personal branding have overlooked the extent and value of personal introspection. I truly value your video content.

Stephen, your content has been in rotation with my other studies for the past week. Idk when the algorithm slipped you into my sight, but I’m glad I bit… You speak for a group of us out here who see the market differently than most. Those of us that truly want to be iconic and unique in our field. There’s not much of that content floating around on KZbin, especially for my specific field. So thank you for being a hidden gem that will play a major part in my success story. You’ve easily earned my sub.

I keep thinking about how you said "Your personal brand already exists". It reminds me of one day at my uni when a group of us were hanging out, watching videos of public figures. The guys in the group suddenly told me that x figure was wearing an outfit that I'd totally wear. I was dumbfounded that people would associate certain types of clothes and colors with me, but it does make sense in terms of this personal branding you were talking about.

The tips are useful, clear and easy to understand, it was easy for me to pause, self-reflect and already see the correlation between the points and my life as a brand. This is definitely a gem to keep for a long time. Thank you.

Awesome insight. This video really helped me clear the fog and develop some clarity to move forward with building my personal brand. I really like when you said that our personal brands already exist, we just need to develop and nurture it into an asset. Great perspective. My main struggle is ambition. I understand the slower I go the better, but theres just so much value I want to give and people I want to inspire. Everything in time....

I've spent some years growing a car photography page (under my own name) but i'm finding it really hard to add value and grow. I'm also into biking and feel I could add value/tips etc there but not with supercars. It might be different if I actually owned one, lol. As the audience followed me for car content/photos I feel I can't just introduce biking into it. The hard part is trying to monetize a supercar photography page

You may want to create another handle for the biking. One of the most important things is the passion you bring into your page. Are you passionate about the biking or the supercars?

I'm so torn how to develop my brand's personality, when my customers who are high-paying professionals, but I'm a bubbly person, who is quite a dork around the edges.
@BrandMasterAcademy11 ай бұрын
Absolutely, finding that balance is key. Your brand can be professional yet still reflect your unique personality. Think about blending your bubbly side into your brand's voice in a way that resonates with your audience and differentiates you. Remember. A lot of these “High-paying professionals” are dorks around the edges, just like you. It’s not a weakness, but your super power. Use your uniqueness wisely, in contexts where it adds value and relatability. It's all about striking the right balance that feels true to you and appeals to your clients. Hope that points you in the right direction!
