The tribute was cool and touching. He'll be missed, but I'm excited for you, Dan, on the next chapter. I'm old (56) and discovered you and Crossropes right before Covid hit. I gave up running in lieu of jumping, and it was the best decision I've made in my fitness life. More fun, less jarring on my back and knees. I'm really looking forward to your future.

I found this channel during lockdown. I've never felt fitter having started it and all your work and dedication has been my source of workouts, tutorials and motivation, so thank you for all that you've done and continue to do. For me, I'd love to see more workouts incorporating different exercise equipment like dumbbells, resistance bands or even just things around the home like chairs for dips and pushups etc. Keep up the great work!

Well done and keep going. I'm one of those people who started jumping rope way back when you were ZDF. The videos are all here to stay - for posterity. JRD has been / is a force for positivity, encouraging people to move and exercise and become healthier. Oh and you introduced me to the crossropes which I absolutely love. Such is life - every human ultimately has their own specific and unique destiny and calling - there's much to be celebrated and a lot to look forward to. One thing I did struggle with, but that was something in me, was the promises to get 'ripped, shredded and get abs' - the optics, comparison, competition and internal conversation that provoked were not good - I get it youtube is about clickbait, but I suggest continuing with the message in this video that it's about health and wellbeing first and foremost. Jump rope works, I love it, it's become a part of my lifestyle, I appreciate your work that has encouraged me to pick it up. Keep going!

Thanks Dan and Brandon. I was randomly recommended one of your videos just over a year ago. I bought a cross rope set and off i went and never looked back. You guys got me off my arse, sorted my diet out, although i was reasonably fit i needed something other than running, surfing and cycling. I’m now fitter, leaner and happier, thanks to you guys, all the best Brandon and Dan i subscribed last year and will continue to follow you. All the best!

Ran a half marathon back in 2017 and was a week away from a full marathon in 2018 when someone crashed into my car head-on and broke my arm, skull, and both legs. Jump rope really helped me on the road to recovery and I really appreciate your workouts. I started with you all pre-pandemic and have been through some of both of your more ridiculous hair dyes, man buns, etc., but I appreciate your content. Even though I can do it myself and just plug in some music, it's great having a coach there to motivate you. Many thanks to you both.

Hey Dan, I just found you guys a couple of months ago. There is one constant in life and that's change! Our job is to embrace it, grow, experience, and be happy with it. I turn 61 in April and am jumping my way to be the leanest and strongest I've ever been. I'm committed now, and your videos help a lot to keep me motivated. My dad was the captain of the Naval boxing team and could really jump like a pro when I was 14, and didn't know what I was doing lol. I've made myself the promise that I will jump like my dad did all those years ago. Remember there's old farts like me out there looking for inspiration to get strong and lean again. Hit it head on knowing there's a lot of us out there looking forward to the future content! #dothething! 👊

45 years old this year. Before I began jump roping, I was struggling to chase my god children around cause I had no real endurance. Ever since high school I tried to do running or working out in one form or another. P90X, DDP Yoga, etc. After finding you all, I gave up running for jump roping. I have weights next to my standing computer desk so I've been doing this since last summer and I can tell you, I haven't lost a lot of weight but, my endurance has gone through the roof, my arms and shoulders are bigger than they have ever been, my calves have that heart shape to them, which they've never had, and even though I still have a belly, I can see my upper abdominal muscles showing through for the first time in my entire life. This is working for me and has been a ton of fun. Thanks so much for what you are doing as it is making a huge difference in my life. I'm now able to chase these kids around and they run out of steam before I do. :D

Great tribute and story about your journey! I’m a 65yo JR newbie and loving your channel! I’ve been on a health journey for years, moving to whole food plant based nutrition ~7yrs ago and don’t have weight issues but wanted to be stronger so I could play harder! Became a Muay Thai and HIIT fanatic in January and picked up JR about a month ago to improve stamina (boxers jump rope!) and am having so much fun! And I love taking my “gym” with me! Not gonna lie - tripping and getting rope whacked is no fun and provides plenty of opportunities to laugh at myself! Your channel has given me some ideas wrt form and I’ll be jumping in front of a mirror today! Thankful for Brandon and JRD - wishing Brandon all the best in his endeavors!

Great update Dan. I'm positive your separate journeys will be great for both of you and for those of us that are part of JRD Nation. Your thoughts for the future of JRD nations sounds great. The app is a godsend. I use it not to lose weight but maintain some sort of fitness and help keep my blood sugars in check (type II diabetic). Since I have less time for road cycling, jump roping is a great substitute for my cardio fitness. Hopefully you can convince Brandon to visit (us) JRD once in a while. Making a cameo with you or something like that. You're from Amish Country, PA? Lancaster, PA is one of our favorite getaway spots from NYC.

@@JumpRopeDudes Hello Dan this is Brian R. Just trying to join a gym so I can jump 🦘 rope 🪢 inside 💠 so I don't freeze 🥶 out side. I'll miss Brandon. I used to jog out side & now I don't have to worry about knee problems. Hey bro, my problem is that once I start jumping rope just a few mins each sesh once or twice a week I get rekt then I need like 3 days to recover and after that I lose motivation for a while so there's no real momentum. Then I try again and same story. Any tips to beat that? Cheers!
