When this was playing at the cinema I worked at, I and one of the managers were waiting outside of the auditorium it was playing in to clean it when the movie finished, this nice elderly couple came out, and when I asked them if they enjoyed the movie, the lady said, "Yes. But, there really wasn't much of a plot." The manager replied with a slightly bemused look on his face, "You're expecting a plot? From a movie called SHOOT 'EM UP?" The lady chuckled and said "Fair point." I did see this when it was playing there, and really liked it. It was fun, and that's all that matters. E.T.A. This movie falls into the category I call, GOOD POPCORN MUNCHING FUN!

Mythbusters ALSO did the hand in the fire with bullets thing. I think both were more 'It'd be fun to see what'd take to do this' than going 'See, it can't be done!' Which I think a lot of people don't realize Mythbusters did more often than not. It's like blowing up the cement truck, then standing in the crater, giggling, and admitting 'This had nothing to do with testing the myth.' They just had fun, like this movie.

Whoa... Grandpa taught himself early PS2 CGI... Unless he finds himself someone who's good at Unreal Engine 5, that's going to be a tough sale...

That decoy baby was still more convincing than the baby from "American Sniper."

This still one of my favorite movies, even though I truly haven't watched it since I saw it in the theater. I think this was terribly underrated when it came out, especially since I was one of only 4 people in the theater at the time. Great acting/dialogue, fun plot, awesome soundtrack.

Such an underrated popcorn flick. Love this movie for the seer amounts of insanity it brings to the table. 👍

I would love to see a movie in which the protagonist only says "one liners" that make absolutely no sense at that moment but at the end, for some reason they all come together at the same time and everyone laughs like crazy. 😅 By the way, great review as always Brandon! Good catch!

This is probably the greatest John Woo movie, which isn't directed by John Woo himself.

This is an example of a movie delivering exactly what it promised in the title.
