Tbh the camera app is kinda annoying but at the same time it amazes me…..but yeah it’ll take time to adjust a bit….and the battery life is not that much good in beta 2….in beta 1 it was stable and performance was good……and another thing that i noticed that whenever i play something on apple music….if i switch networks then it shows that not playing….then you’ve to goto the playlist or again add the music….while it should’ve been like spotify, if i play something it always be on that song or playlist…..that’s something we need in apple music……

i thought i would like the photos app. but honestly. i don't. i don't have the memory for it. I can't remember where everything is. Sure I can by trying. But it shouldn't take work to find a button. That's a distracting and fatiguing workflow which makes the task harder to do. We're not computers. Hopefully the app will speed up over time and the sections will simplify and improve slightly over time to where I prefer this one. It's not horrendous. But its definitely beta as far as design goes. also the icon customisation on the home screen, I'm never using that. I know making iconsets is hard, specially creating the ecosystem for it. But do it properly or don't do it is apple's philosophy. So what are they doing here? The best part of this update for me is the left swipe to that widget section is much improved and has completely changed the feel of the home screen design for me, and the same goes for the swipe right to the app libraries. i'm sure there are other nice features too but none came to mind. apple notes and calendar are now improved. The calendar app is visually much better too. Apple intelligence is going to be awesome but it's not here so I shouldn't be commenting on something that doesn't exist. So nooo. Also, the EU sucks so I hope this doesn't stop it coming to the UK asap. One thing I would like to see, when we copy and image from safari (or when one is in our clipboard as the latest entry), right clicking in finder or on the desktop should include a paste option. Instead of us having to go through some weird process of adding it to the photos or pasting it into notes and not knowing how to export this into just the original image as a png. Same applies for copy subject in apple photos, can't paste it anywhere outside of imessage and notes really. i should be able to paste it into the photos app and finder/files app.

I’m on Beta 2 and found a bug. Forwarding a screenshot to an Android user through RCS is not going through. You have to save it to your photos first, then select it, then send to your Android person. Another bug for me. My keyboard times out when typing a message with lots of characters. It’ll disappear then have to tap message text box to bring the keyboard back up.

The Photos application is not my favorite anymore because every time I go to slideshow it doesn’t give me the option to pick none of the music if I pick none it will just pay the original audio that I have. However, in iOS 18 some reason, there’s no option for me to pick a nun for me to hear my version of audio. I had to hear the music‘s audio instead of mine, and plus I record mixes on my channel and literally uploaded two videos combined them into one now I can’t do that no more which is I kinda still upset about luckily, I have one iPad running iOS. 16.4.1 but I just wanna Apple to Lake remastered a little bit, but if they don’t, then I am an idiot for updating my devices to 18 because of the can I bring it back, and then I am a fool for updating my devices to begin with, Apple please bring back that option

And not to mention, VoiceOver had did not got approved with beta two because it’s still performing bad when you swipe left to scrolling my friend who has an iPad eighth GEN told me and 17 it was acting normal, but when he updated to developer beta, he noticed it started to act the same way just like my iPad seven was acting so that was not gonna fix this. By the time we get to the OC we can already tell this is going to be like the repeat of 17 by twice the worst and the second time a voice only crashing a lot resetting your primary voice to Samantha again just like iOS 16 well, that being said, watch out when we have 18 coming out in September

The RCS glitches for me, it shows RCS then when I send it, it says message send failure, and I have to force send it as SMS. I have Verizon so I know it’s not a carrier issue, I just think it’s a glitch I’m having.

I absolutely hate the new photos app. I can’t ever find the right place to go to find a picture. iOS 17 had the photos app perfect. Now we just have all this filler shit, like recent days, people, pinned collections, memories, trips, albums… literally all in one page. I love the new photos app, it’s more fast & fluid to navigate through. Set it up as you like, although it maybe can use some optimisation I am so happy with it. A thing I’ve noticed already from beta 1 is that the DANISH KEYBOARD language has word swiping now. You should cover that if any other languages got that. Before it was limited to my English keyboard. It took years to get danish keyboard swipe. Finally 👏🏻 so many great features in iOS 18, Lock Screen, Home Screen, control center, app locking. Thanks Apple 🙏🏻 the most annoying bug though is that screen time still crashing in settings. In beta 1 it crashed immediately, in beta 2 it freezes for a bit then crashing the settings app.

Brandon, I noticed something in iOS 17.5.1 that I think is a bug. In the iTunes Store app, when I purchased a song, it doesn’t automatically download. Additionally, when I try to download it in the ‘purchased’ section, it “downloads” and then shows the download icon again since it never downloaded. The only way to get them to download properly is to sign out and then sign back into the iTunes Store app itself. How might I let Apple know about this “bug?” Would I be able to use the Feedback application, or is that application reserved for beta feedback only? Please respond and let me know the best way to inform Apple of what I think is a bug. Thanks.

1:46 it now easier to share a podcast with a start marker. So just go the spot or a section in the transcript and it shows “From start” or from the current point. I’ve been asking for this feature for years. Apple is finally waking up with Podcasts, after letting KZbin taking the lead from them. I suppose you like to know these things. I have a crazy amount of problems with the current Beta build of iOS. I mean it also, I can't name them all so I'll share a few but tons of glitches and a few actual app-related functionality issues. Notes app: Quick note will not resume previously opened applications regardless of settings chosen Messages: Replying to messages from the notification center, the typing is less responsive than if I just open the actual application. Huge noticeable difference. Also, the keyboard keeps closing as I'm typing. Ring doorbell: App notifications wont pop up on lock screen anymore ( made sure notification settings were on. I also disabled/enabled the. It's more I promise but I just don't write everything down. But lots of little glitches. Definitely worse than the first beta and I saw your vid stating that's how it can be and I definitely understand. Just wanted to make you aware of some.
